Highlander AWD 6cyl

Highly recommended, car like ride and handling. Somewhat small interior. Typical Japanese suspension and seats (both very tight), unlike the plush, cushiony feel of American designed cars and SUVs.

Wow! What an incredible vehicle! We traded up from a Camry and glad we did! From the outside it looks small, but once inside it has an amazing amount of space (especially after folding the back seats) Can carry lots of stuff (use often in our craft business, garage sale shopping, etc) Doesn't feel too big and can see everything on the road (unlike the huge SUV's) Doesn't feel like an SUV, but like a large Camry. SMOOOOOOOOOTH! Highly recommend. Can be a bit pricey but well worth the money. We purchased the 6 Cyclinder and love the get up and go! Thanks Toyota!

Great value for the Buck

The Toyota was my choice due to location of the dealer; price; previous experience. For the $8000 difference in the RX300( my other car) and the Highlander, I opted for the larger usable space. On its first road trip I got over 22 mpg during the 1700 miles including local driving in and around DC and travel through the Tennessee and Georgia mountains. Comfort was great The seats easily fold down. Plenty of storage space. The automatic air conditioning worked great. No worry about the power antenna in the car wash. Purchase price was under $30,000 for the Limited AWD with leather; 6 disc changer; sunroof and tow package

The more I drive this vehicle the more I like it. It took a little getting used to, since I drive 3 other vehicles. Overall I'm fully satisfied with my choice of getting the Highlander.

Toyota's Lure

Outstanding Vehicle. My "test drive" was when I needed more cargo space for a trip to Wash DC last year. I rented a Highlander for the 14 hour, one way trip. It was so comfortable and tracked so well on the highway! I bought one a couple of months later. I hadn't planned on this major purchase, but the long trip decided it for me. Great gas mileage, the cargo I needed, nice styling, and drives like a car. Absolutely no problems, and complete satisfaction except for "annoyances" of cup holder and OD select mentioned below. 3.0 six cylinder is engine of choice.
