Fun to drive. Towing capabilities with a carlike ride. Stylish SUV. Not an overgrown gas hog like the large SUV. Just right.
Nice car poor audio
I was actually looking for a nice station wagon when I bought my highlander. I am very happy that I made the right decision. It cost almost same as the VW Jetta station wagon. I got a much better car: bigger space, comfortable ride, excellent performance, good gas mileage, very reliable. Also, don't forget that it is a SUV, the hottest thing on the road.

Goldie Enjoys Vintage Gold Highlander
Have driven since August 2001....have received numerous compliments on the styling and color of my 2WD 6cylinder Highlander....great handling and acceleration to go with decent gas mileage (19-24 mpg)....Wonderful visibility and elevated road view...The cabin is roomy and comfortable...There is an annoying wind pressure noise that occurs when only the back windows are open...vented rear window panels would eliminate this...good pricing (650 over invoice) for a great vehicle!
JR review
Great car for traveling in the flats and slight hills. I recommend this Toyota highly.
Love this Car
Just bought used Highlander last month. Got all bell and whistles for same price as 2003 base model, with only 8800 miles on it- Aloways wanted one since I departed from my 4-runner 2 years ago. Went to a sedan (hated it).
