Used 2017 Toyota Avalon XLE 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
The forgotten dinosaur.
Did not want an SUV or Crossover. Did not want a Camry, nor an Accord. They are everywhere, on every corner. The Avalon fits the bill as anti establishment. It is bigger than your average midsize sedan, and is not your boxy utility vehicle. With its 268 horses and 248 p/ft of torque, this short limo will take you to your destination in comfort and style. Arguably the best looking product in Toyota's lineup, this beast will not disappoint. Its silky engine will get you up to speed effortlessly. The Avalon is the car to be if you are stuck in traffic for an extended of time. The luxurious comfortable interior will make the long work commutes much more manageable. Very quiet and with a supple ride in a good way. Its swooping exterior lines remind me of the Audi 7. Love those "Robocop" taillights. Finally, with its legendary reliability; nothing from Detroit, or Stuttgart can touch it.

Avalon is as good as any Lexus orBMW for much less
You can get for 20% less than MSRP, just have to shop around for the right dealer. It doesn't matter where you buy it, free maintenance and service plan can be performed at any Toyota dealer nationwide. I got mine for $28,200 plus a 5 yr 125,000 bumper to bumper warranty with $0 deductable for $1300. Walked out the door with total price with NY tax, tags, title and bumper to bumper warranty for $32,257 cash price. This car is worth every penny!

Toyota Excellence
Bought this to replace my 2003 Avalon XLS with over 228k miles. Not disappointed. Same great Toyota quality, performance and reliability. Gas mileage about the same but a bit more power. Great value, excellent fit and finish. Fun to drive. Very smooth and quiet ride. Safety features have been well planned out. Wished some of the additional safety features available on the XLE Plus, Premium, and Limited were standard on the basic XLE but I understand the targeted marketing and I appreciate price point options and affordability.
