I purchased my '05 xB in 2006 and love it. Can carry anything, even a kayak! (Bungeed the back shut about 6") I have since added a roof rack to hold both my husband's and my kayaks and still get 36-38 miles per gallon with an empty roof rack. Last year my husband's Camry was totaled and he was lucky enough to find a used "05 xB. His had 30,000 miles on it and is still like new. We live in NH and had record breaking snow last year. We did have snow tires, but could go anywhere. Never had a car this good in the snow! Both boxes are standard transmissions, very easy and fun to drive. Can't imagine driving anything else. We plan on keeping these boxes forever.

The XB is a fun drive and very reliable. My wife and I have taken three four hour trips on the interstates and the vehicle has more than enough power to handle it. The ride is not bad either. We have alot of the extras on it like the cold air intake, etc. We both really like the styling and no matter where we go we get comments about it. We entered a car show locally with it and got alot of comments about it. The car is just a very fun drive and I would recomend it to any one and any age. I am 47 and my wife is 45 and as I said we really have enjoyed the car so far.

Awesome Car!!

I got rid of my high maintenance german car (a fully loaded 03 passat) to get this car. I have a five year old who plays every sport and is always making a mess of the car while I drive a TON of mileage around town...it's fun to drive, handles well, gets great gas mileage, no expensive maintenance, etc. I added leather to mine and they even put it on the doors and it really dresses it up as well as my 6 spoke wheels. It's just a great solid car/truck.

The 2005 Scion xB is an awesome car. I just got back from an 1,800 mile trip over four days, and it was very comfortable. It hauled lots of stuff, and on the way back stretched out my 6 foot frame and slept well! It does get lots of looks, which is fine. People are constantly amazed at the roominess. To quote a friends son "Wow! It's huge!" this was after he got out of his Dad's Escalade. It is fun to drive and zips around traffic. It's not a racecar, but it's fun. The xB is easy to park and fits anywhere. It gets good gas mileage! I love the design - simple and straight forward. It has a great use of space. Did I mention all the room?

SCION XB

The Scion XB is an affordable vehicle that is easy to drive and there is ample leg and head room. It rides comfortably and I love the fact that the rear seats go down when more room is needed for carrying large items. And despite the fact that its only a 4 cylinder vehicle, it carried 4 average sized adults up a hill with no strain to the engine. And the automatic transmission is so good, you can barely feel it shifting gears.
