Used 2005 Scion xB Consumer Reviews
cant lick this box
best value on the road. dont waste money on high priced gas hogs....
Excellent mileage and lots of leg room
small outside, HUGE INSIDE! Wanted best gas mileage with enough leg room. Insight 51mpg but only 2 seats, Prius 44 too small & long wait, VWs 41 & 32 but bad reps, Echo 38 too small, Civic hybrid 36 uncomfortable, Mazda3 33 & didn't try it (but I hear good things), xB 32 and LOTS of leg & head room, front & back! A great car for town & smooth roads. With 5spd & cold-air intake, acceleration is good. Euro version is the Yaris Verso. Pedestrians do double takes, people in parking lots feel compelled to walk around it, other cars tend to hang in blind spot for a long timelots of fun to watch! Front seats comfortable except on road trips (built for narrow shoulders). Great style! fun to drive!

Overstayed Its Welcome
The good qualities of the Scion Xb, lots of room and exceptional visibility remain. However, they are overshadowed by a harsh and noisy ride, and terrible gas mileage. I've tried everything, and the best mileage I can squeeze out of this car is 27 mpg in the summer and a ridiculous 20 mpg in the winter. Also, cruise control isn't available and the interior lighting is poor.
My new Scion
My new Scion XB is very smart in appearance. I love the way it feels in the interior and the fuel economy. I love my Scion. I have found my car of choice.
Better then my Matrix
First off I would like to say my experience with Scion of Naperville was beyond excellent, Between the people to the cars it was all out perfect. I love the xb because it gives me what I need more then my toyota matrix could and I paid 5-6 thousand more the xb. So when I seen the xb and the price I jumped right on trading my matrix in. Best choice I ever made. Sure people look at it funny at first, but once they see the inside and go for a ride they are sold.
