Used 2003 Saturn VUE Consumer Reviews
Our Saturn
After having numerous repairs done on our old van, we decided to purchase a Saturn Vue. This vehicle has been reliable and comfortable for this family on-the-go. We are very pleased with our purchase and look forward to many years of driving pleasure with our Saturn Vue.
Love It
2000 V-6 FWD VUE. Love it! Dealer got the exact one I wanted. Didnt charge for the Décor Package (Scotch-guarding, clear coat protection on the paint, pin- striping, and window-tinting). Even took out the $80 floor mats. Wal-Mart sells a set that match the interior for $20. Looked at all of Edmunds reviews and the VUE was the best for the money. Power steering is unique (electric assisted) but nothing I cant get used to. The VUE handles well and is very responsive with the V-6. 5-speed automatic is the smoothest shifting transmission Ive driven. Ive read all the reviews on the VUE and been looking out for problems others have had but so far no problems.

Michael's Vue of the Vue
I feel it is the best machine I have ever had. It does everything it is supposed to do, very well. A good value for the money, which is quite a bit less than the gas hog suv's. And speaking of gas mileage, mine does better than rated both in town and highway. It's a well made, well thought out machine. But for the people who want to compare this suv against an suv that cost twice as much as a Vue does, well these people are bound to find some differences. But for half the money in some cases, I can do with less chrome and better gas mileage. Then again, for thoes people who want to put down the Vue, maybe I got the only good one they ever made. :)
Wife loves her Vue
Fun to drive and has the pep needed for expressway driving.
Shoulda, woulda, coulda
I traded in a Passat on this car so I could take our large dog around more comfortably for him and us. Wow, what a mistake. After German engineering, it is hard to get used to Spring Hill plastic. POOR, POOR quality. I knew that the Saturn was inexpensive, but I assumed it to be of good craftsmanship, if not of high end materials. Was I ever wrong. I want a divorce from the Saturn family.
