this car is my baby since the dayI bought it. It runs as hard and i've never had anything major happen to it. I've modified it and now it can beat preludes, 240sx's, and eclipses, just to name a few. This car sticks to the road and has excellent handling. the low ride i part of the reason. I love it.

These cars are absolutely awesome to drive. Mine has almost 170,000 on it and I don't care and it doesn't seem to either. It never misses a beat, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

body still looks good after 9 years, but had a recall or two; parts falling off-accelerator pedal;mirror;casette deck broke; front strut let go around 50 k miles; motor mount broke, taking power steering pump with it;( $600 if I remember correctly);replaced cam cover gasket twice; at 60,00 miles, "check engine" light couldnt be remedied, took several dealer visits and $700 to replace just about every sensor, etc to get emissions and computer controls to work properly drivers seat adjuster failed. repaired at dealer for $200, found out that seat frame was bent and the seat had to be trashed (got a replacement from junk yard) anodized (black) trim on door/window has weathered to bare steel

Easy to maintain

This little car have been very dependable as I am able to maintain 36 - 38 miles highway in the warmer months and 25 -27 city. Besides from normal wear and tear parts are easy to replace Alternator, Brakes, Radiator and suspension . However as it is a 4 cylinder you will have to add oil on a regular basis. Another thing to watch out for is the crank sensor which can make you think the timing has jumped but the timing chain on this model last forever. Nice dependable plastic car

I've only had to replace the alternator once and had motor work performed once in the last 2 year. Overall I've been very pleased with look and performance as well as reliability. The only negatives 1. the plastic interior has started giving way 2.the seat cushions getting flat. But afterall the car is over 8 years old. 3. durable exterior wall will bounce back from hit unless in 20degree weather in which it will crack easily. It has more than paid for it's self.
