Used 2021 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Consumer Reviews
Fabulous truck with great resell value
I'm 65+ years old, private business owner who has purchased dozens upon dozens of trucks, but in my personal life for my own personal use about 25 trucks made up of Ford, Chev and Ram. I started buying Ram in 2006 and have never gone back. My last Ram which I just sold was a 2018 with 185,000 miles on it and when I traded it in, it was still running very strong. Today I purchased a new 2023 Ram Laramie again with the 5.7 Hemi and never gave it a second thought and just hoping it's as good as the last 6 Rams I've purchased. Nothing beats the Ram, ride, sound, luxury, power, quality, handling, its a great truck and Ram has a great dealer network. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend a Ram truck to anyone, which I have (and they have purchased and equally happy). Five Stars !
Don’t listen to the haters!
I have no idea why Edmunds doesn’t have the option for a Rebel with the 5.7 Hemi, but that is what I have. Bought it new with 19 miles on it and it’s now at 88K. Simply the best truck and truly the best vehicle I have ever owned. It replaced a 2014 Tahoe that was a beautiful vehicle but cost me an absolute fortune with non-stop issues! I have done nothing but oil changes, tires and tune up at 50K, and brakes. It had two recalls in the last 4 years but they were both very minor and dealer had them done very quickly. I have had F150, F250, Ranger and a Silverado 1500 over the years and this truck outshines them all! The ride is buttery soft, it’s dependable as they come! Plus it looks beautiful and has so much interior room! I can’t say enough good things about this truck and I test drove an F150, Silverado and a Honda Ridgeline before I bought it and have never looked back. Reading some of these reviews drove me nuts so I felt like I needed to leave my own. Especially the guy who gave it 2 stars because of the noise and vibration when you have just the one rear passenger window down…absolutely ridiculous! That is every modern car! Take it from someone who knows trucks. This is the one you want!

Great until its not
Bought new 1500 in 2021 with 4 miles. 2022- slips into limp mode, dealer says bad oil filter. 2023 slips into limp mode, dealer says bad oil filter. DEC 2024 (57,000 miles) slips into limp mode and brought it to a local shop. Shop says needs new transmission and 10k in other work, told to bring to dealer. Dealer agrees to fix transmission ONLY under warranty. I ask about rental and dealer agrees to reimburse for rental. End of February finally get vehicle back from dealer and immediately trade in for Toyota. Its now the end of March and and I am still chasing the rental reimbursement.

Smooth Ride
only thing I dislike are the mirrors. So if you have a garage measure the width.
