This truck 1997 4 cylinder 5 speed 2 wheel Dr has done the work of a at least the minimum of a f150 I'm talking hauling wood w/ trailer and the rear end on ground stuff to moving across from MA TO AZ 3000 MILES pulling a uhaul with a motorcycle and tools at least 1000 lbs + then somewhat times from AZ to CA to VEGAS back to AZ now its back to being just my daily driver in town the speedometer was replaced at 188000 miles to miles of 165000 there was also 4 years that it didn't work prior to changing it ! It now reads 259259 mind you lots of things are working /pass side door only opens from outside air bags light flashes can only hold 5 gallons because of fuel leak on top of tank drivers window hard to roll up paint looks like it melting off body has major cancer from salt in wheel wells tip of muffler broke off tailgate have to lift handle to close one tail light half on but works windshield fluid not work cab has no lining ripped off because of hanging ashtray super glued good enuf to work now and then requires maintenance check engine light stays on the gas cover not cap will not close either way I still feel this truck with a guesstimate of over 300000 miles still gots more left to go !

I have had very few problems with this truck. It is the bare-bones, no AC version. Had to replace the distributor cap and spark plub wires, new tires, and it is running strong. Very reliable.
