The best kept secret?
I bought this truck as a "hold me over" vehicle to use until I could decide on my next car... that was almost two years ago. I can't seem to come up with a good reason to get something else. This truck is built like a tank, runs perfectly, looks great, and is fun to drive. It has become my mechanical pack horse, and you just don't get rid of a trusted friend for no good reason.
ole' red
Bought this truck off of my dad as my first truck. And this truck has been through hell. Had to replace random parts such as spark plugs only complaint is that the coil is built into the distributor has 239k miles and still runs like a beast. Leaks oil off the tappet cover but other than that after 239,000 miles it will take a beating and keep running.

First car
I’ve driven this thing for the past three years and I’ve had to replace some things on it (alternator, a couple sensors) but it’s had some pretty minor issues for how many miles it’s piled up. Mine is pushing 250,000 miles and still gets me wherever I need to go. If I don’t let it sit long enough on a hot day, it can be a hard start, but it’s a conditional and temporary problem. Only time it’s ever left me stranded was when the alternator died but I should’ve caught it earlier. All I can say is this thing runs forever, does what you expect, and gets better gas mileage than expected. The acceleration is poor but it’s solid and powered by a 4 cl. Don’t feel cheated buying one at 100,000 because if it’s been kept up, believe you’ll get one maybe two hundred more out of it.
Great Truck
This truck is THE most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I have over 107,000 miles and I havent even needed to replace the clutch yet. It aint flashy, but it will treat you right.
Keeps on going and going
I bought this truck as daily transportation. The company that I work for was retiring it from our fleet service program, because it had reach 100k miles. It's at 174k miles now and still running strong with oil changes every 3K miles. No major problem to report. I've replaced the fan clutch and fan belts. If you want dependable fun transportation, find a clean one and just drive.
