Rogue review
Haven’t had it long, but love this vehicle 🚗. Was able to get all of the options I wanted at the SV trim level. Saved me thousands. Also have a Murano in the family and really like the size of the Rogue.

Better than Equinox, CRV, Forester, and Rav4
I drove the Rogue, Equinox, CRV, Forester and the Rav4. The Forester, CRV and Equinox were 2019 Models, while the Rogue and Rav4 were 2018's. I rank then in that order listed, with Rogue first. It was an easy and obvious choice. The Rogue was much more comfortable to drive. The Rogue was the only one with heated seats and heated steering wheel. I chose the "affordable" models where the MSRP was no more than about 30k, but I did not drive the stripped very low end models. The Equinox I ranked number 2..it was more comfortable (except the Rogue) but lacked safety tech and features in the LT model. The Forester was very nice except that it felt like I was sitting on my carpenters nail belt full of nails. I wanted the Forester to win, but could not wait to get out of it as it was too uncomfortable. The Rav4 was "meh" and nothing special. The CRV has a "Mandantory Moonroof" in all models except the Lowest end. That is, if you want any extras, you MUST buy the CRV moonroof at a cost of around 1500 dollars. I would rather lose my money in a Casino than buy a moonroof..at least I could have fun in the Casino. So the CRV was not for consideration. The Rogue SV had everything I wanted and more: All wheel drive, safety tech features on lower end models,remote start, heated seats, "360 degree" backup camera, and even heated steering wheel! I was shocked to find out it also had NAVI and Sirius XM radio..much more than I expected, and much more than in all the other models I tried. Yes, you can get some of these things it the highest level models, but I wasnt about to spend almost 40 grand. Its far and above the best value for the money. Forester was second, as the 2019 Forester also has safety tech features even on the low end models. I dont like the car companies telling me: Ok, I value your life, provided that you pay 38k or more, if you want the lower end models, then you are on your own as far as safety. The safety of my family is too important for it to be "for sale" by the car companies, nor should it be.

Loving the Rogue
The Rogue is a smooth-riding, roomy, good looking vehicle with lots of electronic safety features, and it can give good fuel economy if driven appropriately. The dealer offered very good incentives, making the purchase decision easy. The all wheel drive has worked well in snow and off pavement so far. I am somewhat baffled by other reviews of the Rogue claiming a lack of power and voicing a strong dislike for the CVT. I find it quick enough for any normal driving situation and very efficient, also quiet and comfortable. If you want the sporty thrill of acceleration while you are wasting fuel, you can always manually shift the transmission. Follow-up: Several months and several thousand miles later, the Rogue continues to exceed our expectations. Now in the warmer months, fuel economy is even better, some trips are over 35 mpg, once over 39 mpg. The electronic safety features are the norm now, and we don't like to drive older cars that don't have blind spot detection and 360 degree cameras. On the other hand, I think we have not even tried to pair our smartphones to use Android Auto or Apple Car Play. The seats are quite comfortable, and there's plenty of room for us and our stuff. The interior seems nice enough but not too froofy. Overall, the Rogue suits us very well. 13 months, another follow-up: Nothing to report besides continued satisfaction. No problems, no regrets. Update at 3 years: Nissan just extended the CVT warranty, covered under the powertrain warranty, from 5 years 60 k miles to 7 years 84 k miles. Ours is approaching 30 k miles now, and we continue to only have good results to report. No issues. It's a comfortable and versatile car, and when we look at other vehicles we realize what a good value the Rogue has been for us.

4th Nissan Rouge
Picked up my 2017 Midnight Edition Rouge the day before snowmaggedon hit NW PA.. We received 200+ inches of snow this winter and my Rouge handled it like a champ since I was working just about every day. Now that summer is here, love driving this car everywhere. This is my 4th Rouge lease and have never had an issue with any of them. Received a great Lease rate on my current vehicle which is why I went with the Gray Midnight Edition. Stylish, roomy inside, comfortable seats really dont have any negatives about this vehicle. Looked at other vehicles like Jeep and Honda and neither could match features and price.

Nice suv for the price
This suv packs a lot of features for it's price. It comes well loaded. I have driven about 22k miles so far, and no issues. Cvt transmission takes sometime getting used to, but it is designed for gas mileage. Averages about 29 to 32mpg in mixed suburban driving. It is a well designed product from Nissan. The only issue I had was oil change intervals are at 5k. But they are relatively cheap. I used to own a v.w. vehicle before where dealer charged arm and a leg. it is about 61K now. No issues with engine and tranmission. Only had to replace a dead battery and all 4 tires at 55K. The collision sensing software was updated under warranty at 30K, as it was a standard recall. other than that, the car has been running smoothly. 100k no issues so far. Just basic maintenance oil changes, tire rotation, transmission service, coolant/brake flush, differential service etc. have replaced the battery, tires and rear brakes once At 171k, still no issues other than basic maintenance. Kept up with all recommended maintenance like transmission flush, brake and coolant flush, oil changes, air filters. The car is still good for long distances
