awesome pathfinder
tested many suv's in this class but Pathfinder diffinetly won out. It has titlt rear seats, great power, nice lines. Only wish it had 4 wheel disc's all the way around. Nissan also discounted a full package that was quite acceptable along with a great loan. My other vechile by the way is a 2001 Maxima. Neither has given any trbl. to date.

Drives like a car.
This SUV drives just like my Honda Civic or even better. You don't feel the road as much. It's a best buy!!
great car, great ride
This vehicle handles exceptionally. You can't go wrong with the engine, the interior is very pleasing, the suspension is great, and it's a lot of car for the money.
PF LE 2003
I checked out just about every SUV on the market before deciding on the Pathfinder. There is no comparison. The PF's ride, handling, styling, utility, and comfort exceed all oter SUV's out there. And it is priced well. I have two kids and I am planning on taking a cross country drive with it.
best for price
went from 96 4runner to this vehicle. i got more power and features for $4000 less. does everything i want for a suv. do not go off road, but pull 2500# mcycle to fla every year, and pull utility trailer. cannot beleive difference from 4runner. maybe new 4runner is better, but i am not waiting for price gouging arrogant toyota. as for wind noise from roof rack, had dealer remove it. never used one anyway.
best SUV in the price range
Reserched Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander and Pathfinder. Rebate and .9 financing separated the Pathfinder from the Highlander.
Best SUV
Love it, feel safe in it, not too big or too small, it's a gas eater though
Love it!!!
This is my first SUV. After months of research and test driving, I decided to purchase the Pathfinder. I am very pleased with it and so are my girls. It is fun to drive and I feel very safe in it. (It has the side impact air bags).
Great SUV to own
Great handling and comfort. The fold down rear seats are tricky but the reclining feature is excellent. The gas milage is average but has great pick-up.
Impressive
Best in class, great power, sturdy, not too big, not too small (will actually fit with another car in a two car garage).
Great vehicle!
I have previously owned a Nissan Maxima and I am experiencing the same level of quality and fun with the Pathfinder. I think I will continue to purchase Nissan's and I would highly recommend this SUV to others. It has been great.
Love It!!!
It has power to boot... Stereo is GREAT!!! DVD player is awesome. Lots of fun to drive!!! Gas economy is low but acceptable... Only aggravating feature is opening the rear hatch... FOB won't do it...
Better than I expected
My wife and I just bought our LE 4x4 3 days ago, and we are very satisfied with our decision. For us, it was down to the Pathfinder and the Pilot. My wife favored the Pilot because the on- road ride quality is a little better than the Pathfinders. However, we both feel that the Pathfinders interior is much more luxurious than the Pilot's. I was board looking at, and driving the Pilot. I mean,it will probably have better resale b/c it is a Honda, but I would much rather be seen in the Pathfinder. The wood trim with the tan leather looks great - esp with the creamy white exterior paint. Very upscale - moreso than some of the Infiniti QX4's I have seen.
Pathfinder = Reliable
I bought my pathfinder with 28,000 miles on it and I have never ever had a problem with it. I love the interior, exterior and the way it handles. Small enough to fit into tight spots but big enough to get a true SUV feel. Gas is decent, I have a short so I dont get hit as much.
Ive had my nissan for a decade...still love her...
She never fails to be there when she is needed most. Biggest issue is swirl control valve siloniod had replaced many many years ago then few years later was acting up again. Bought anotjer however it didmt solve it. Every 3 months she acts up then take off battery let sit over night and she is fixed or temp fixed.. seats are not comfortable but all in all its a great reliable ride

good longevity if you can keep the oil in it
I purchased my 2003 pathy as a 1 owner with 83000 miles on it. It has been solid except it started consuming oil around the 125000 mark. That has continued to date and is getting progressively worse so it is now a get around towner. The fit and finish is ok and has stood up pretty good but in the door area on the passenger rear is rusting out. I had to repair the evap system at 275$. Many parts on it are original and show no signs of wearing out even with 186000 on it. I was told the engine oil issue was a design problem that they know they have and are doing nothing about. It has lost some of the paint/ black trim color on some of the parts and the door seals are finally coming loose. It has consistently gotten 17 in town and 18-19 on the interstate. I don't like the oil problem because I would drive it till the wheels fell off if it didn't use a half qt every 350 miles. I am thinking of opting for a Toyota this next time around but I appreciate the 102K miles it has given me.

Not pleased with my purchase
I traded in a 95 Cadillac and a 99 Tahoe. Im really disappointed with this vehicle, not even a week after I bought it, I had the a.c. compressor go out and there was an exhaust leak. Now when I accelerate it still sounds like theres an exhaust leak and lacks the get up when I step on the gas. The other thing with it there's something loose that rattles when I'm driving. The driver seat is really uncomfortable, the room in this vehicle is very limited to what I'm used to when I had my Tahoe, even my Brougham had more room than this Pathfinder. I'm regretting this purchase would not purchase another one, I should've gone with the Toyota 4Runner at least its reputation is a heck of a lot better.
The one to have
Being a fan of fishing, I needed a vehicle with real offroad capabilities but with features of a luxury car. After shopping all makes that's the better for the price far from every one else. That's the only real SUV on the market. Don't talk me about integral with suspension for paved street as a SUV.
the best
the best suv that you can have
Squeak-noise
Good overall, but first I had wind noise issues with the roof rack, it was replaced! Now in slow driving over a little bumpy assphalt, I hear annoying queak.
