other buyers need to know that the brake system is bad on the Nissan Murano's//if you don't get the extended warranty the abs will go out// so in other words short of not wanting to fix the problem, they tried to sale me another dango car and that will never happen if you can't guarantee the cars last longer than 140,000 miles, or the transmission starts going out and the all sorts of uglies the clerks states//states to me to get ready to buy a new card//if a car doesn't even last 200,000 miles, what good is it

The Murano is a good looking vehicle, and really nice to drive. The seats are comfortable and the drivers compartment fits like a glove. Everything you need to control the car and comforts is within easy reach. I always enjoy driving it.

I bought my 2009 Murano new and within the first year my battery died listening to music in my car for 10 mins. I had battery checked and they said its fine. After that I made sure no interior lights or seat warmers were left on and still got stuck 4 more times!! Can't get rid of this car fast enough. Reliability is everything!! Even though its awd, it's not that good in snow compared to my other vehicles. I replaced tires to snow tires and helped a little. But after they changed tires, the tire maintance light went on and won't go off. Hate the start button feature. Both my key batteries are low already. Have to go to dealership to replace. Also costs over $200 to replace if lost.

Push start flaw on the 2009 LE AWD Murano “Buyer be aware” although the 2009 LE AWD Murano is widely advertised all over in commercials, magazines and internet ads there is a major flaw with this vehicle. There are intermittent problems with the push start feature when the intelligent key is used or not used. During the first two weeks after purchasing my SUV I had problems with the push start where my car completely stalled. Neither the push start nor the key would work. The dealership has been unable to replicate the problem. I have decided to return my SUV for another model without the bells and whistles until Nissan perfects the technology behind the push start feature.
