2006 Murano
Excellent vehicle. Styling is fresh and up to date. Plenty of power. Handles like a car. Good visibility. Controls all within easy reach. Plenty of power.

CVT is great!
The CVT gives a smooth and powerful acceleration. I've never had any problem passing another vehicle quickly. The SE was rated as giving a choppy ride due to the CVT, but I don't feel it that way. It's not obvious at all when the transmission changes gears. We travel alot and have over 65,000 miles on our 2007.
Fantastic vehicle
In 28 years of driving, I can't remember a more pleasureable driving vehicle!! The comfort and smoothness is just great, The CVT is the transmission of the future! If you are looking at this segment of cars, don't overlook the Murano, With all the features I think it represents a great value. This is my 4th Nissan and I have been very happy with them all.
CAUTION
I have been purchasing cars since I was 17 years old, and now at the age of 52, I have to say this is the absolute worst car I have ever had the disadvantage of owning. This car is literally a money pit with problems from the horn, to the repeat repairs on the alternator (which cost ALOT), to the rattles, catalytic converter, and ect. Do yourself a favor and run if a salesman even suggests purchasing one. I am looking for another car and I’m going back to a tried and true Toyota or Honda.
