Used 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Consumer Reviews
poor workmanship overall real garbage
I've purchased 2022 outlander SEL launch ED , Apr of 2021 when first came out. It was loaded with all kinds of features and looked very good. After delivery day 1 went on fwy driving at 60MPH the hood started to shake up and down so violently I thought it was going to fly open. After going back to dealer they told needed adjustment which did nothing to help. Now after 2 years MITSUBISH has a fix and that is to replace my hood with a different design and have Bodyshop paint the new hood. I think that will have impact on resale. Also the upholstery is creasing on the all the seats .So my conclusion about the outlander is that they are trying to sale cheap car and just to make it look well appointed but its all low quality because Mitsubishi customer service told me that's normal for their cars upholstery will crease after time so not cover under warranty .Buyer Beware. FOR ME THIS WAS THE LAST MITSUBISH I WOULD EVER BUY. Don't be fooled by their advertisement. I think it might be all photo shopped.

Surprisingly good
Bought the AWC es. For the 18 inch rims. Changed tires toBF Goodrich trail t/a. Never a problem 5000 miles. Don't like the dealer trying to tell me only needs oil change every 10000 miles. Going to do it myself , a real pain with these plastic skid plates everywhere. Useless for rocks but does keep crap out.

Great value 3 row suv
Later model 2022 outlanders have had all the common complaints of rattling hood etc fixed I have never had that issue. The complaints about the app remote start fail rate have also been fixed by software update in Nov 2023. For the money this SUV has been nothing but great for a family vehicle. Only complaint is local driving mpg is bad 10-12mpg. You have to drive freeway to get 30mpg+.

Rear-end replaced 3 times
Rear diff went now for a total of 3 times which causes alignment to go out and have now went through 3 sets of tires. They just replaced the whole rear end 4 weeks ago, and it just went again. They have no explanation as to what's causing the issue. Anyone else having similar problems ?
