The AMG S 63 E Performance also has a 4.0-liter V8, but it's paired with an electric motor that powers the rear axle to produce a total output of 791 hp and 1,055 lb-ft of torque. Its battery is smaller than the S 580e's, so it can only manage a Mercedes-estimated 16 miles.
