Best Minvan Value Ever
After 5 years and 75,000 miles, our MPV is holding up great. We only had one problem, an electrical switch in the steering column that tells the computer that car is in park, failed at around 60K and cost about $380 to fix. Other than that, just routine maintenance has kept this nearly indestructible van going down the road.
One of the Best Minivans
Bought our '03 LX in late 03 when they had great rebates. This van has done it all for us. It tows a popup camper (our LX has the tow package), hauls the kids AND the grandparent thanks to the 3 row seats and has conquered the New England winters. We also like the size (a bit smaller than the Honda, Toyota). No serious mechanical problems, all the little things were covered under warranty. V6 had plenty of power and is rides very well on the highway. Do yourself a favor and check out the used MPVs - they are a bargain!!

Rust bucket
Our 2003 started rusting around the wheel rims and door edges a couple of years ago. The mechanic now warns us that the frame has rusted beyond repair. He said the rust was pretty typical to this car, and I have notice other MPV 3's have the exact same issue.

Love It!!!
Compared the MPV (ES) vs. Honda Ody. Fell in love with the Mazda & wouldn't trade it for the world. Sporty, fun to drive and loaded with features. Great vehicle!
Too Many Issues!
Brought her brand new. 85k on it, rust all over, new brakes twice, still make noise, O2 heat coil bad, fuel pump replaced, relays bad, replaced, tires replaced 3 times. Very bad gas mileage. Definitely going back to Honda when she is gone.
