Take good care of it and it will take care of you

When I bought this car, it was from a teenager who took poor care of it. I had to put about $1800 of work into it after receiving it when buying it for $2100 after it had 98,000 miles on it. After that, the car never did me any wrong. I never had a doubt whether or not it was going to take a dump on me. The only thing that concerned me extremely about it was that the exhaust would get so hot it was burning a whole in my trunk. I never worried about whether or not it would blow up though. I would always take care of my younger niece(3 yrs old) and she was always happy to ride along. Yes, this car is not tall people friendly. If you are 5'10 and under, this car is more than spacious for you. Nice trunk space, nice compartments and always a great ride. It did me a good few years, and in fact it saved my life. I was rear ended back in September, and since the car is longer, a lot of the impact was taken in the back. Granted, my airbags didn't go off, but nothing happened to me other than a concussion. The driver was probably going over 50 mph as well. My advice to you is if you buy this car, treat it kindly. for it will treat you kindly.

Positive comments all around.

It's a shame Mazda stopped building the Millenia. I bought mine used and have put nearly 130,000 miles on it. It has given me no problems at all other than a Check Engine light that seems to think there's a problem. The drive is very satisfying; think of the Millenia as a big Miata. The ride is smooth and quiet and it is generally a very comfortable car. The interior is classy and it comes without the gimmicks of high-end technology. Storage space is good with enough cup holders for everybody and a wide trunk. A folding rear seat would be nice. Mazda did not put enough effort into marketing the Millenia and giving it a competitive price tag. I think it would have been a very successful car.

Other than the timing belt and IAC valve I have not had any problems with this car.It has a lot of pep for a tiny 2.3L V6,enough to entertain me on a boring day.

We bought this car a year ago used. Had previously owned a 626 and MPV and heard good things about this car and its value. One of the best cars we've owned! Fast, smooth, quiet and handles well, too. Nice leather seats and luxury features. Too bad it's discontinued!

Bought it new in 01 and have about 105000 miles on it. I still love it! It's a sharp looking car and extremely comfortable, even for someone pretty large (6'2", 300) No major repairs, just fairly normal maintenance. The steering wheel that automatically raises when you take the key out and lowers to your pre-selected driving position when you put the key in is getting fussy in cold weather and stays in the up position, but I've simply turned off the auto feature for the winter and will reset come springtime. I'll keep her until she falls apart around me.
