I Love My Car!
I love the way my Lexus rides. I always enjoy taking a drive even if it's just down the street. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who can afford it.
Great automobile
This is my 6th LS and each one has been even better than the last. This is a very smooth riding and handling car. Very quiet ride and the service has always been excellent.

Great Ride !
Excellent workmanship. Best engine/transmission function I have experienced. It is so smooth and quiet I had to learn to watch the tac. to see if it is running. The sixth gear allows it to run at 80mph at just 2100 rpm. When asked, the 4000 lbs. will do 0 to sixty in under 6 sec. Almost all comforts have been provided such as air 10 air bags, 10 way heated/cooled seats, dim/tilt down mirrors. We bought it as a road car and while it isn't a "sport feel" drive, it provides a strong performance and safe feel with adaquate road comfort. If it continues to satisfy I will buy this brand car again.
Bruce's review
This is the best vehicle I have owned. I traded an S-Type Jag and there is no comparison. the room and quietness is fantastic. The ride is very smooth and the quality of the car seems to be excellent.
good car, design flaws
This is my 2nd ls430 in a row. There is too much wind noise and the dealership, although accomodating (they even replaced the wind shield) could not find the problem. They took out the occilating front vents (great feature), the message recorder and the emergency sat link. All missed very much. The seats are less comfortable. This is my first "ultra luxury" package, and my last.
Great, but still room for improvement
Great car overall. Executive comfort package makes ride enjoyable for all passengers. The car performance-wise is good and It beats out my previously owned benzs and bmws in all of the categories except for handling and exterior design.
A lot to like
Having owned Mercedes Benz, BMW, Acura, and Cadillac, the Lexus is without a doubt the most smooth riding and quiet vehicle of all. Performance is excellent although handling is not quite on par with BMW. The emphasis is on comfort and luxury with the Lexus and they hit the mark with near perfection. The only gripes have to do with the blue tooth phone which is less user friendly to use than my wifes Acura and with fewer voice commands. The navigation system also prevents making changes or inquiries once underway - their lawyers must have the last word in product design. Overall, Lexus is truly an outstanding vehicle and offers excellent valu as well.
A worthwhile and enjoyable experience
I purchased my LS 430 as a certified used Lexus and it had 17280 miles at the time of purchase. I am more than pleased with every aspect of the automobile. It is serene and powerful, yet it gets a respectable MPG considering its size and weight. It is exceptionally comfortable and a pleasure to drive.
Awesome Car, Engine a little loud
I love this car. I bought it to be my daily driver. Very smooth the only issue I have with it is that the engine is a little loud when accelerating.
Best Car Ever?
189000 Miles and runs like the day I got it!

My third LS-430
My only complaint is that they changed the glove compartment from two doors to one, and things fall off the shelf inside now. Go back to two doors. Everything else rates a "10"
SUPERB VALUE
test drove mercedes, bmw - pound for pound, dollar for dollar, no comparison. if you like to feel the road while driving this is not the car for you. it's like driving on air.
2005 LS 430
Wonderful in many ways, not so good in snow country and sometimes scary in the wind & rain. This car that seems so easy to drive does not handle well at the limits of high speed and adverse weather. (My previous car was an Audi A-8; but this car doesn't handle as well as my wife's Surbaru Outback.) Not so important but a niggling problem is the placement of various buttons on the steering wheel that are easily bumped and change the audio system (or turn it on!), set off the voice activation programs, etc. Also, four times I ran the battery down because a door was not completely shut, which I couldn't tell from the interior lights that stay on for a minute or so after the car is shut down.
Best Car I Have Owned
This Lexus LS 430 has more advanced features than its peers. ie: blue tooth tecnology, swivel headlights, XM ready, Quietest interior in town and country, smooth acceleration but has the power if required. Navigation system is best by far than Mercedes & BMW both of which I have owned.
Poor experience of 2005 LS 430
The automatic heating system and heated seats take long time to warm up. When the vent is closed, you suffocate. Very rigid suspension, You feel every bump on the road. My Lexus has a mind of its own. It accelerates and brakes with its own mind. Service department said both brake and engine control by a computer. The computer has a mild delay which is normal according to the mechanics.
Lexus ?
Nice car in general but has a hesitation when accelerating!
