This was my first car to buy out of college and I absolutely love it. I went with the IS 350 and love the horsepower. I think it's a great 4 door, yet sporty car. I've had the car 6 months and still have no buyers remorse.

Is that all the features you have?

I got an IS 350 Lux Pkg w/ Navi ML Sys in Glacier Frost Mica/ Black interior. The IS is a combo of luxury and sport. It's one vehicle that definitely make sheads turn. For the $$ I paid for my IS 350 lux pkg, there is absolutely no way you can get the same thing in the same class range and price. Quality, luxury, value, style, sport, and reliability... all in one vehicle. Check out the list below and you will know why. Just love it!

I saw, I drove, I wanted it. This car is not only beautiful to look at and fun to drive, but it is also going to keep you well balanced and under control if its power out-ranks your driving skill or the laws of physics. It corners like its on rails! The car has a great combination of luxury, performance and safety at an amazing price. I drove all of the competition and was glad I chose the 350. Can we see an AWD version any time soon?

This car is spectacular! It's better than most sports cars, and is reliable on top of it! I've always wanted a Porsche, but I have to admit, I don't want it any longer after driving my Lexus. I can't wait for the V8! Thank you Lexus for such a great driving experience.

Really nice car. This is my everyday ride, it is the best car I have owned. I like it better than my vette or BMW 3-series. This car is done right!

Loved this car from the 1st moment I saw it. Quality, performance & amenities are w/o equal! M/L sound system is awesome; ventilated seats... ingenious! It's a pleasure just to watch it sit in the driveway! Find new things to love about it every day. If you're looking for power, look no further.

Motor Noise

I purchased a Lexus IS 350 about 5 months ago. In the beginning I really loved this car and thought I couldn't live without it. Now I know I can live without it. When the weather is warm this car has very little motor noise but whenever the weather is cold the motor makes a terrible knocking noise when you crank the car. This is rather embarassing to know you pay $40K for a car that sounds like this and anyone standing by looks and says "something is wrong with your car, you should have it checked out." I have had it checked out and Lexus is aware of the problem but can't fix it so in the mean time they expect me to keep driving it. Hope you have better luck with Lexus than I have!

But I have had problems with fit/finish in terms of rattles in the cabin. Lexus has done some felt in the dash panel which helps but I am still pursuing resolution of the issue for the long term as I intend to keep the car awhile. The car itself is fantastic and an unbelievable value considering what you get in the car. Truly quick and powerful, the car is a blast to drive and handles exceptionally well. I get average gas mileage but only because I am such a lead foot and when I have done a little less stomping on the gas, the car does get respectable numbers. The car looks great and I drove the G35 and the 330 and I still think this is the better looking of the three sedans.

I bought this car as a used car when the mileage was 31700, now it's already 33050. The car still in great condition, with minor rattle in the interior. I love this car, really fast yet comfortable and smooth compared to its competitor. I got the full options, very satisfied with the price and the options that i got.

I've owned the IS300 and then bought the IS350. I'd have to say the new IS is much better; more room, more power. I've owned a BMW in the past and would have to say this car is light years better.

Wife doesn’t want a new car

06 is350 Bought used 7 years ago with 160k. Now at 222k and one alternator, and 4 batteries later, been a wonderful vehicle. Wife loves so much she doesn’t want a new car. As long as you buy one that hasn’t been beat up, and don’t beat it yourself and maintain it, you will have the car forever. Only cons are sticky dash/ panels and small backseat. Just the two of us and lives in a garage so that remedies both concerns.

I've been antsy for the redesigned IS to come out. Thought I wanted the 250... until I drove the 350!!! What power! Awesome! Gas mileage is impressive (21\28) given it's a 3.5L V6! Exterior and interior workmanship is beautiful. WOW! What an improvement from the 300. Many features: Auto on\off headlights, power driver AND passenger seats, auto climate control, keyless entry\start, heated AND ventilated seats, homelink, auto dimming rear view mirror, stereo listening positions (Ex: only you are in the car - select 'driver'. Stereo is tuned for optimal listening from the driver's seat)...and many more. The Leather is like butter! Drive it and you will want one!

The IS 350 is better than the reviews may appear, actually. I for one enjoy all that techno stuff and I still think the car thinks it's a 911! Very torquey and great handling, along with every possible amenity make this car the best vehicle I've ever owned. HIGHLY recommended.

I bought the IS 350 because I thought the seq. shifter would be cool. I was wrong. It got annoying after 2 weeks. The shifting feels sluggish due to that the underlying tranny is still an automatic. It may look fast, but underneath the body-kits is only a 105 hp engine. The crappy tranny ruins the 306 ponies. In the luxury dept it also lacks. The ride is sacrificed for the handling. So if you are looking for a plush ride, look elsewhere. The plastic on the instrument panel feels like hand-me-down Toyota parts.
