2021 Land Rover Range Rover P525 Autobiography 4dr SUV 4WD (5.0L 8cyl S/C 8A)

I own a 2014 Range Rover sport autobiography with only about 25k original miles. Truck was meticulously maintained. I had to replace entire brake system and undercarriage, totaling around 36,000. I have owned used cars in the past, 10-14 years old without this issue. This truck is 7 years old and the entire sub frame oxidized. As with everything today the price goes up and quality of parts goes down. We reached out to corporate and they would not take any responsibility only offering a couple of thousand back towards repairs. They told us it happened after the warranty expired. Our issue is this truck was maintained yearly by the dealer and we were never informed about any rust issues. We only found out when our brake line started to leak brake fluid because of how badly it had rusted. If you own this truck or any Land Rover and live in an area where you get snow, have the undercarriage protected before the winter. I don’t know if it will stop this issue, but hopefully it will help.

Heaven and hell, mostly hell

I owned a 2016 HSE Td6 from new. It was a dream, however I followed that up with a '21 Westminster p400. While it did manage to start up almost everytime, terrible control ergonomics (you can't change the A/C fan speed without pushing a dime sized portion of the lower touch screen everytime), awful audio - the 825W in my '16 was amazing, the 825W meridian in the '21 was truly terrible - and to make matters worse, constantly pops and cracks when using carplay. The only solution is to use straight up Bluetooth, or a 3rd party wireless Carplay adapter into the USB. All of this followed up by a never ending series of unknown rattles, creaks, and groans from the pano roof, poorly assembled interior panels, and poorly designed trim pieces made me long for a Toyota, even with the road noise. The seats have almost no bolstering, leading you to feel like you're about to slide into the center console or door depending on which way you're turning. Almost nothing works well in the car - I'll make a list : Infotainment, carplay, stereo, climate controls, actual cooling/heating ability of system system, air distribution vents in system, rear climate comes on all the time and when you don't want it, transmission clunky at low speeds, ventilated seats, driver assistance aids, suspension wallowy and jarring all at the same time, capacitive touch buttons on wheel finicky Things that do function well: P400/MPG, heated seats, heated wheel, seat adjustments, door locks and windows, mobile app So long as you don't need or use any of that other stuff you should be good If I wanted to get anything fixed, it was 2 month + wait at the local Portland dealership. You will quickly learn that the service department is never not busy at a rover dealership. Is it a nice car ? When it's not creaking, throwing check engine lights, popping static through the stereo - yes mostly. And the looks are to die for. But between those brief moments of heaven when it's not infuriating you, you're suffering through the feeling like you paid too much for a poorly engineered, poorly assembled, good looking vehicle.
