Used 2002 Jeep Liberty Consumer Reviews
350,xxx miles and IT'S ALIVE??????
these cars are very hit or miss mine has 350,000 miles on it one motor rebuilt and needing transmission rebuild.... but hey 350,000 that's more then these things should every be suspected to go but always remember its a Chrysler at the end of the day it can have issues for any reason these cars are fairly reliable for a jeep model after 99 but some people will tell you to stay away which i don't blame them (more parts for me if you do stay away) so buy one there not to expensive car fun to drive engine noises are normal for most they weren't really known for being quiet motors and just keep up maintenance and you will enjoy it

Uh Oh!
Fun to drive, love the style. BUT problems with auto trans that dealer can't seem to fix. When below 32 degrees, trans locks in 2nd gear and check engine light comes on. Had it to dealer 3 times so far, and it just happened again today. Also two symetrical dents on either side of hood cracking the paint. To be fixed under warranty. Starting to think I got a lemon, although I do love the vehicle. very concerned. Gas mileage disapointing.
Couldn't be Happier
This Jeep has a great interior, and I find the seats very comfortable. Lots of interior room, good power, great stereo. Haven't heard any squeaks or rattles, and haven't had one problem in 4 months. It looks great, it drives great in snow, and it makes me smile each time I get in.
RENEGADE'S ARE AWESOME
THANK YOU JEEP FOR PUTTING A MANUAL TRANSMISSION IN A LOADED VEHICLE!!! Rides great and accelerates like a scalded cat. Now make us something bigger!
