Amazing vehicle

I've had this vehicle since August of 2003 and can only say it's INCREDIBLE. I've only had minor problems with it, a couple sensors that cost me about $35 each ( using my own CODE reader I got on ebay for $10 and finding the problem myself ) and installed in myself minutes. Fan belt started going at 19000, replaced free. Replaced muffler and front brakes so far at 100,000 and did ALL maintenance at the proper time. Doing this has kept it MINT, engine is almost new looking also as very little dirt gets in there. Since I installed a Hydrogen system ( 3 month process ) I'm getting about 5mpg better than before so no reason to get a smaller vehicle for Gas' sake. LOVE IT.

Shock tower bolt on right front was not tightened down at factory, this caused a clunking sound at any speed and wandering.I wonder if any other bolts or nuts are loose??? This Jeep drinks gas like a miniture Boeing 747. I will trade this unit off next Spring and the word JEEP will never be on another title of mine!!!!of

Not for off road

Interior is built from surprisingly cheap plastics, ergonomics are almost adequate, 4X4 system is “cloned” from previous Jeep models-it’s not doing good job in the snow since system can get easily confused by its anticipated traction, rear viper can be much better, engine is surprisingly good and very much agile, etc. In conclusion, do not take this vehicle serious as far as off road driving-do not believe to advertisements.

Look out at 75,000

This was the best vehicle we ever owned until we hit 75,000. AC compressor, transmission replacement (ouch)...new radiator. It is amazing how the truck knew the final payment had been made. If you are under 70,000 consider a change fast

I've been driving Jeeps for the last 8 years and have never had a bad exoerience with any of them. This is my first small size Jeep and so far all is well. The liberty really handles differnet from the Grands I've driving in that the wheel gives you strong response to any movement. This is something I had to adjust to.
