Great Buy For the Money
I recently purchased my used, 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 67,300 miles on it. So far, it is exactly what I expected, a solid, 4x4, SUV that is great for daily driving. My other vehicle is a 2005 Cadillac STS that I use if I want to have a luxury sport ride. Although it had passed State Inspection, I immediately had some upgrades installed. I had 5 brand new Firestone Destination A/T tires installed, a catback, Borla exhaust system, a heavy duty Interstate 7 year battery, a full set of 4 KYB heavy duty gas shocks and a new heavy duty steering dampener. Everything else was "good to go" and passed State inspection. I enjoy driving it locally every day. My wife enjoys it also.
Yellow won't die
2Dr/4WD Cherokee, commutes 200km daily and goes trail riding on weekends. Does a long paper route once a week and takes three dogs out and about. 4.0L engine just keeps on ticking and she just turned 310,500km on odo, I figure she's good till 500,000km.

Liberty is No Equal to the Cherokee!
Jeep should have never stopped making this wonderful 4x4. A true classic that can not be replaced by current models. Now will have to wait for the Jeep Rescue!
Best Jeep Ever
This is our second car, the other being a Grand Cherokee. When the announced the last of the classic Cherokees, we headed out and bought a fully loaded Limited version to keep long term. This is our third Cherokee and we love this vehicle. It is powerful, fun to drive, rugged good looks, comfortable and it was the most vehicle for the money I have ever seen. It has never let us down and has had not one problem with anything. I have a few issues but overall, this last of the Cherokees was the best of them all. If you don't have to drive the most refined vehicle around, this Jeep's for you.
New guy REALLY digs his Jeep
I bought this thing while I was home on leave from a deployment. I was only able to drive it for a week and a half while I was home, but, man alive! I drove the ever livin crud out of it. Now all I can do is sit around and daydream when me and my lady are reunited. Externally very understated, internally it's a whole other world. I knew this immediately as I slid over the leather seats and perused the controls. The torque is breathtaking and the overall build and handling of this hunk of metal is much better than I had expected. I would never seek to modify this gem - much, but I've already been toying with hanging parts on another older model.
