2025 Hyundai Tucson Consumer Reviews

Love my car
I love this car. It gets great mileage and I don’t have to plug it in to regenerate the battery. It does this as I drive! I bought it because of all the safety features it has. It’s very quiet and comfortable to ride in. I highly recommend this model. .
Some Good Some Bad
First of all, I waited for the 2025 because of its tech upgrades. As a senior citizen and owner of Hyundais for years I really love the safety upgrades and the larger 12" display. One thing I don't like is the HDA auto braking which can slam on the brakes unexpectedly, and I do mean SLAM to the floor when someone is taking a right or left turn, and I attempt to go around them. Luckily no one has been too close to me when this happens so far. Another annoying tech is the eyes forward distracted driver app that constantly rings even when I am looking straight ahead. Granted it's a great tool if working correctly but needs some work. The FOB's that come with the car are very cheap plastic. My 25 Tuscon Limited has only 4000 miles under 3 months old and I went to get my key out of my pocket, and it was gone. I looked back in the parking lot and found it on the ground with the loop on the FOB broken. I took it to the dealer, and they said they don't replace those!!! Really? But was able to direct me to an aftermarket case that went around the FOB. I must not be the only one. Finally, my last gripe is that the side mirrors on the Limited are not able to be folded in by inside control. Will update more later

Love is Lovelier the Second Time Around
My ‘25 Tucson is even better than my previous ‘22. The control panel is different, which took a few days to get used to, but now i see how much easier it is. The twisting gear shift is as easy as can be and much more convenient. Plus, not having it as large push buttons on the center column, gives you a nice well for glasses and keys. My favorite new change, though, is the fact that I can put my keys in my purse, get out of the car, and press on the car door handle to lock it. This car is not for aggressive speed demons but it has enough punch to get you onto the Highway quickly. I drive from Florida to New York round trip each year, so quiet comfort is very important to me and the Tucson won out against the others I test drove. Very happy with my choice!
