2024 Hyundai Tucson what’s up with them not putting clear coat on the inside area of the rear hatch jam and under the hood.It looks terrible like the paint job is not finished. I always wipe my jams off after washing. What am I supposed to do with that it is ruff not being finished.you pay all that money and they don’t paint The Who car.Going back to the dealer today to see if they just missed it. Not real happy.Besides that li like the car.

Too quirky for this BMW,Volvo and Toyota owner

Thanks to Bidenomics I decided to trade in my European premium drinking Volvo XC40 for the "highly" rated Hyundai Tucson. Despite the long list of interesting safety and tech options I have been disappointed from Day 1. Auto tailgate has a mind of it own and even opened on its own while driving. Stupid push button gear selector. Stutters when accelerating onto highways. Dealer installed trailer hitch is tiny and flimsy. Requires too many steps to bring up Waze or Google maps when trying to listen to Sirius or terrestrial radio. Blind spot monitor goes on and off for no reason. Same with FCA radar. Ventilated seats that do nothing. "Service currently unavailable" occasionally comes on screen which turns off ability to change stations, volume or media. Unplugging phone usually rectifies things. Worst of all, is dealing with Hyundai Financial. This is the only car company in the past twenty some years that won't allow me to auto pay from my credit union savings account. Only checking accounts accepted. Can't wait to trade this thing in on a Honda or Toyota . It does get pretty good gas mileage, is roomy, nice touchscreen, good choice of performance stats to monitor, no kick auto tailgate is nice when it wants to cooperate, spare tire is great to have, maintenance package is decent and rain sensing wipers and auto high beams are wonderful upgrades.

So many things to NOT LIKE

Can NOT recommend this vehicle. So many things done WRONG. 1) possibly the dumbest thing I've seen on a car design since the 90's is that this car will save Driver settings, like how many times I want the turn signal to blink when shifting lanes, my seat position, my radio stations, BUT it DOES NOT remember where I want my side mirrors! We have to manually adjust side mirrors every time we switch drivers. I have the top-o-line Limited package and this basic setting is missing? What a joke ... c'mon Hyundai it's 2024! 2) the car does not come with a hardcopy owner's manual. Try reading the downloadable version on a phone. Yet it did come with a hard copy info-tainment manual. Who in Hyundai-land is making these decisions? <LOL>. 3) The headlights are awful - pointed down with a dark, dead spot in the middle of the road. Lots of complaints online about this. 4) I am far-sighted (perfect distance vision), but have some blurriness reading things at arms length, therefore I were reading glasses (but obviously not while driving). The console and info-tainment system letters, icons, and info are so small that I have trouble seeing it. The terrible choice of similar background and foreground colors only makes it more difficult to see (blue on blue). Fortunately my wife is required to wear glasses when driving so she can see the dashboard. I, on the other hand, struggle and there is no apparent way to adjust colors or zoom for the dashboard. Did I mention I have the top-o-line package? Just a terrible design if you have any kind of near-sight vision problems at all. 5) this one seems trivial until you go on a trip and put drinks in the car... only 2 cup holders in the front. This is the same problem I had in my 2012 Hyundai. They have apparently learned NOTHING in the last 12 years about user convenience in the modern age. My Honda has 4 in front. 6) The Jack-rabbit start makes the car lurch forward when starting from a dead stop. Not necessarily dangerous, but I have to wonder how long the transmission will last if it is so poorly matched to the 2.5L engine.

I was really impressed with the ride quality...better than my 2021 Chrysler 300! Oh, and it looks great too in Ultimate Red!

Replaced a 23 Sportage with the 24 Tuscon SE nothing fancy but has excellent safety features (don't know the technical jargon but basically the wheel vibrates and the brakes go on when you're about to do something stupid like back over someone or sideswipe another car) plenty of room front and back. The seats are comfortable it rides higher than the Kia and the tech is seamless. I found the acceleration to be more than adequate. And the only concern I had giving up unbelievable gas mileage with the Kia 27 to (yes it's true) 42 on the highway was alleviated on the ride home when I topped out over 44 mpgs! So I'm happy with it. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars I've only had it a few days and oh it doesn't come with a spare
