Used 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sedan Consumer Reviews
No
Don’t expect your car to last 100,000+ miles without engine problems. Had to swap my engine due to motor failure. It has been knocking since 80k and not a single mechanic could fix it. Although, they said it was a very common problem. Also been burning through oil, filling it every 500-1,000 miles. If you commute far, I don’t recommend.

Easy
With over 270k miles, I can honestly say that this has been the best car I have ever owned. Easiest car to maintain and fun to drive.

Very reliable!
This car has excellent gas mileage, it rides smoothly, and it's a great first car. The only thing it didn't have was bluetooth which was an easy fix, I bought a car bluetooth off of amazon, it works great.

Solid value for our money
While Hyundai did repair the lower block @ 41k miles (due to it beginning to tick during cold starts), its otherwise been a relatively problem free little gas mizer for our daughter to use thru her entire undergrad/graduate school span. Replaced a problem evap cannister once, & a couple oil pan gaskets, but all in all, can't complain with 42-45 hiway mpgs for commutes. Will be a solid car for another college student for another ~4 years, given it's only @115k on the clock today(74k on that Hyundai dealer rebuilt motor).

POS car
I bought a 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport and within months the engine seized up and I had to buy a new engine. My daughter bought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata and within months the engine is seized up and needing to be replaced. Hyundai won't pay for 1 cent of any of this - be sure to check the online reviews of these cars and their engines - there is a class action lawsuit on this. These cars are cheaply built and are not worth one red cent
