Used 2022 Honda Pilot Consumer Reviews
Unreliable faulty system
I purchased a 2022 Special Edition. The engine light came on at 7k miles. The service department noted a possible purge control valve but nothing was replaced. At my 15k mile service the tech found that the driveshaft needed to be replaced due to grease being everywhere. At a little over 18k the vehicle started glitching and would not crank. I immediately took it into Honda with video proof of how the system was flickering and not cranking. I was told that the tech could not find anything wrong with the vehicle and that my battery could have drained within 15 minutes of the car being in accessory mode. That was the most absurd thing to be told. Needless to say the car would crank fine for a few days then would glitch out again. Each time I recorded it. I took the car back to Honda. The vehicle glitched while in being checked into the service department. The representative witnessed it but the tech did not. They kept the car for a few days and called me to tell me that they couldn’t find anything wrong. Two days later the car shut off on me while I was on the road in a turn lane. I managed to get it to restart and drove it straight back to Honda. At this point the emissions system light was showing. This is a safety issue in my opinion with the car shutting off in the middle of the road. The transmission control module was replaced. I picked the car up on a Wednesday afternoon and took it back that Fri afternoon for the same reason. As of now, the dealership still has my vehicle. My car has less than 20k on it and they have had it for 10 days so far. I traded in a Toyota for this SUV because Honda had a reputation of being reliable, trustworthy, and maintaining their value. This has not been the case. This vehicle is not reliable and the value of it has decreased significantly.

NICE
I'm not sure if i like the lane assist, and they took away the camera when you turn the right blinker on. there is a blind spot alarm though.
Reliability, Comfort and Less Maintenance Cost SUV
First of all, be proud driving the Honda Pilot. It's heritage and reliability is way beyond Kia and Hyundai. Honda owns Acura, the top luxury segment of Honda. First thing I loved about the Honda Pilot is its quiet driving dynamics, I have the Special Edition AWD, and with its 9-speed transmission the shifting of gears is seamless not to mention the naturally aspirated V6 engine that produces 280HP. it can tow up to 5,000lbs. and is rated 5-stars by NHTSA for safety.I've had a Porsche Cayenne, Porsche Macan, a 2020 BMW X5, an Alfa Romeo Stelvio and a Maserati Levante but I sold them all out and bought this 2022 Honda Pilot. I not only saved money on my insurance, gas and maintenance cost but I resale value on the Honda Pilot is the leader in the market. No wonder even Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds have given it their top choice of 8.1 out of 10 on Consumer Report.
