Used 2011 Honda Pilot Consumer Reviews
Disappointed
24,000 miles. Rotor, tire, transmission issues. Unsafe, unreliable vehicle.
Very bad car
I had a 2006 Honda Pilot and I loved it very much. Very light, easy to drive and very useful. Sold it because it was getting very old so I updated to a used 2011 Honda Pilot touring 4WD. At first I love all the features and the way it looks. Now I came to the conclusion that I hate it. I liked the older Pilot better and I think it should be the other way around. It feels very heavy when I drive it and I keep getting a check engine light (check emission system) I checked online what this is and it turns out that this is a huge problem with Honda cars not only Pilots. I now drive a car that I hate and it’s a lemon. I’m going to fix the problem and sell it. Very poor job Honda and you should feel bad for selling cars with sensor problems and should recall all your cars to fix this issues. I’m very disappointed. Plastic used for dash is hard and ugly. My next car will most likely be a Toyota.

Honda Legacy Continues
I just picked up my ninth Honda car product in 30 years! I am thrilled with my new Honda Pilot! It compliments my current 2001 Honda CR-V and 2004 Acura (translate super Honda) MDX-all under the same garage roof. I shopped for different car types, dealers, and manufacturers over the past year. As difficult as it was to will my aging MDX to my daughter at college, my new Pilot more than makes up for the move. It has more standard features than I paid for in my Acura. It also rides more solid and quieter! The standard sound system is stellar and the room for hauling up and down Highway 81 to Blacksburg, VA will come in very handy indeed!
It's a great vehicle
I purchased mine in May, 2010. I already have 12,000 miles on it and I am quite pleased. It's everything I expected. Comfortable commuter car - although I would think Honda could do better on the fuel economy (getting 18-19 MPG overall). I really like all the room and the utility of the vehicle - exactly why I bought it. The navigation system is fine - sure wish they had live traffic though (possible upgrade??). Finally, I'd say that the only downside has been the sheer size of the vehicle has intimidated my wife from driving it. It does have a pretty wide footprint! All in all I am really glad I purchased it - I am a huge Honda fan.
2011 Honda Pilot EX AWD
I have owned my Pilot EX for two years (bought it new) and have approximately 50,000 miles on it. Absolutely no problems and it has performed as expected. It has plenty of power and is very comfortable. It handles very well and is easy to drive. It does very well in snow (better than my old Subaru). It is a perfect family vacation vehicle. It seats 8 and has plenty of leg room in both the second and third rows. All seats are comfortable but it seems to be slightly lacking in knee space in the driver's seat. You can't go wrong with a Honda Pilot. There are fancier SUV's out there but when all things are considered, you can't beat a Honda.
