Used 2010 Honda Pilot Consumer Reviews
Touring w/ our Pilot
We test drove all comparable SUVs (highlander, enclave, etc...) and found this vehicle a perfect fit for our family of 5. Others may have better gas mileage, and looks good on the outside, but the Pilot drives much better. It feels solid and comfortable w/ enough power even when towing our 21ft boat. Tech gadgets took a little time to learn, but once you get used to it, it becomes second nature, convenient, and fun. I love the back-up camera on the Nav monitor. I now instinctively look for it when I use other cars. This is definitely way better than the minivan it replaced.
2010 Honda Pilot LX AWD
Pathetic front row driver and passenger seats, slow ride, does not feel peppy, not enough acceleration. Should have bought the CX-9 or highlander. Totally Unhappy with truck/SUV.

Steering issues
After steering issues with a CR-V I previously owned, I had some concerns about buying a Pilot but after some test drives and conversations with my dealer, my concerns were alleviated. Big mistake on my part. It just took one experience of accelerating while going up a fairly steep highway hill and trying to change lanes to the right to convince me that my Pilot is dangerous. It 'floated' back toward the original lane I was in on its own accord. Since then I've noticed that quite often when I accelerate going up a hill, especially coming out of a right turn, it doesn't stick to the road. Hopefully I'll be rid of it before I have to depend on it in an emergency situation.
Interior Plastic Scratches Easily
Love driving my new 2010 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD RES. The only negative comment I have is interior plastic is awful. Scratched in so many places already! I have had the car only 1 month. Black plastic on dashboard is chipping and has turned white. Seems as if you touch the plastic is scrapes. Also DVD seems to be rattling tons when not in use.
Love It!
The Pilot has a great ride, smooth acceleration, and great styling inside and out. I like it better than the previous styling due to the more chiseled look that makes it feel more like a real SUV than a mini van. The sound system is great. They have tons of storage space in compartments everywhere throughout the vehicle. The ECO feature is really neat. The gas mileage is not overly impressive by the numbers, but for such a large SUV, it is pretty darn good compared to many of it's competitors. Honda did a great job with this one!
