Used 2014 Honda Crosstour Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Found the car I was looking for!
After having a BMW X5 for the last 5 years, loving the power, hating the maintenance costs, loving the handling, hating how it chewed up tires, I'd had enough. That BMW cost me more in maintenance and repairs than it did in price. I paid double what I originally bought the car for over the 5 years. So, I wanted something that could give me the power on demand, the comfort and ride and FINALLY some reliability in the engine and overall car. After test driving several cars, I found what fit the bill -- the Honda Crosstour EX-L. It's a bit smaller, but it still offers room for some of my toys in the back without having to go full pickup. Yet, it jumps off the line (with a little skeetch to the tires) when I need it to jump. It gives me so much better gas mileage and it's cheaper to fill up (regular instead of BMW premium required gas) and it's nimble and quick in handling. Sometimes it's too quick and I'm not used to that type of response yet. It may not be as sexy as the X5, but it's a pleasing look with lines similar to many higher priced sports models out on the road. It's my first Japanese car, but it probably won't be the last UNLESS this car lasts as long as they tell me it can.

Honda Crosstour, I wish Honda still made them.
We love our Honda Crosstour. One of they best cars I have owned. If they still made them I would buy another one.

2014 Crosstour V6-AWD purchased 11/2019 48k miles
Driven 1,500 miles so far. Very pleased with car, performance, HWY fuel economy measured 28-30 mpg with cruise set at 74 mph trip from Dayton to Chicago. The V6 has cylinder deactivation that works seamlessly. Very comfortable seats, The lane monitoring and front collision warning systems work well (provide beep alerts, no automatic braking though and can be adjusted for sensitivity). Seats fold flat and with release lever on top or separate lever in hatch area. Around town depending on how aggressive I drive I've gotten 15-22 mpg. Like that it has temporary spare. My previous AWD Sienna van had run flat tires and no spare. Appreciate that the Crosstour has 6.2" of clearance, but not as tall as CRV or Pilot. Great acceleration when I need it. It was a few thousand less than similar equipped used Outbacks and Foresters. Really quiet ride, Happy with purchase.

Fabulous, wish there was a 2020!
Great Station wagon. Excellent room front and rear, responsive engine and smooth shifting transmission. I purchased a set of Michelin MXM4s just after buying it and the handling improved greatly. Excellent in rain or snow, I have the EX-L V6.

A sweet sassy ride
This car was great! The cargo space was super. I could put so much in it when I moved. With the back seats down it was almost like having a minivan. The ride was also super. On long trips it didn't wear you out. The only reason I traded it was because it was getting hard to get out with my bad knee and back.
