Our first Honda
Not as good of discounts as some other brands but seem better made than others. More quiet cabin and better driver feedback when operating.

Much more than meets the eye!
Incredibly roomy inside for a 6-foot-plus person. Excellent MPG (I'm averaging over 30 mpg over 50K miles). Hugs the road, handles brilliantly. Rides a little stiff but a non-issue most of the time. Style-wise, I think it looks better than the newer model. The 2.4 liter engine is bulletproof (my Honda Element has 315K trouble-free miles). Interior fabric is easy to clean. One drawback is the back seats don't fold completely flat. All in all, an excellent value!

2016 Honda CRV EX
I knew the car I wanted and traveled over an hour to see this car as there aren't many out there for sale. I traded in a 2013 blue Honda EX and only because I wanted to upgrade before retiring, not because I wasn't happy with it. The 2016 has a few features I like such as the push button start, larger screen and sleeker look. It also has more pick up than my 2013. I'm very pleased and would recommend this car to anyone.
Excellent small SUV
I have a 2016 Honda CRV EX non turbo. I did not have any problem at all. I only had to change the tires once, and the battery once. Of course change oil. I dont understand why some said that it is underpower. Mine is non turbo and is more than powerful enough. You can get more power but you can also get more tickets.

Almost Bought one...
I almost bought one of these; until the sales lady brought it around for a test drive. I tried to get in to the drivers seat, and my knees slamme into the dash...WITH the seat all the way back! I hope they corrected a gross deficiency in the last couple years, as larger people will be seriously unhappy if they didn't...and I'm only 6 ft tall...

Second CR-V
Recently traded in my 14 yr old CR-V. I'm a confirmed Honda customer and was unsure of whether to buy another CR-V or Accord. I test drove both and though the Accord was a bit more superior in acceleration, the CR-V won out in comfort and roominess. Was very pleased with the quiet interior as my older CR-V was always noisy. My only complaint is the black carpet -- It would be nice if Honda gave you a choice of at least one lighter color. I find myself needing to vacuum almost every day. The black shows every little thing you bring in on your feet! Love the leather interior!

Not a great car
The car price Vs feature value is not really matching well. Like I've purchased EX version(middle range variant) and it does not have climate control, It is just and ordinary AC. No Digital speedometer. Prior to this, I used to drive Toyota Prius. It is very old model-2007 base, but still, the base version was covered climate control, digital speedometer etc. I feel, these basic has to cover in all car, at least mid variant).

Lack of Hole in Steering Wheel equals comfort issu
I did not notice when test driving, and I drive the SE CRV over 100 a miles a day. I do not like that the CRV does not have a hole in the bottom of the steering wheel, it creates a very uncomfortable ride for me because that is where I am use to grabbing the wheel. The CRV drives nice, and really offers alot for the price. I just the believe the hole would add so much to the comfort of the drive and handling. The steering wheel is really hard too. So far I am averaging around 25 MPG mostly country side driving/ HWY. Great Visibility too

Second CR-V
2023 and this review still holds true!! I have not had one issue with my 2016 CR-V. It has been a great car and has hold it's value. This is my second CR-V. I traded my 2008 in for a 2016 CR-V Touring. I love the upgrade. This model is much quieter than my previous CR-V. The cargo area is larger and there is more leg room in the backseat. I love this car and am very pleased with my purchase. Honda is a quality, dependable vehicle. I continue to be beyond pleased with this vehicle.

We are so disappointed in Honda
When you ride in it more than 10 minutes your back and hips will feel like they're broken. No lumbar support, very poor cushioning and design. Seat length is way too short to support your thighs. We had been a Honda family for 20 years, but now forced to buy from another manufacturer who makes great seats and cares about our bodies. Shame on you Honda.

CRV is still FABULOUS after 3+ Years!!!
Thank you Honda for producing a wonderful SUV!!! My CRV is now over 3 years old & I am so very happy to own my wonderful CRV!! Every comment below still applies!! If you want a comfortable, high MPG SUV get a CRV. I am still getting over 30mpg overall. This is great since i had held off on getting a SUV because of mpg concerns. My 2016 CRV has a smooth ride and performs very well in wet conditions. I am extremely happy to be a CRV owner !!! Thank you so very much Honda for making a fabulous small SUV!!!!! I truly LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my CRV!!!

18,000 miles problems
2016 CRV , loved it, then the passenger rear window would just go down (first time was during a snow storm while I was inside at work), next time just driving and felt the air and noise. Took it in --- dealer called and said it was ready --- they put tape (yes tape) over the controls so I would not accidently push the button. I WAS NOT even in the car the first time. The manager then called me and said they should have never done that (you think) and they would lock the windows and I would just have to unlock (simply push the button) if I needed them down (16,000 miles). I don't have children, I can count on one hand how many times someone has even been in my car with me -- SO I should not have to have my windows locked on a new vehicle. They have now at my request (2 months) ordered the switch, if that doesn't work then they will order the mulit plex switch. Fast forward -- 18,000 miles exactly -- battery light on, AutoZone said alternator, headed to Honda dealer (six miles away) didn't make it. Called Honda roadside assistance (AWESOME), there within 15-20 minutes. Guy looked under hood, thought it was water pump, serpentine belt melted, and antifreeze spewed everywhere. Just got a call from dealer -- water pump, asked them to check alternator. Doesn't think there is a need to!!!! Thankfully, daylight, close to a relative and a friend having surgery so I had a car to get to work!!!

My Wife loves the CR-V AWD with NAV.
I have always purchased Fords. When we went to the Ford Dealer. The sales Person, who emailed me and said (come in any time and I will serve you ASAP. After 2 hours waiting for her (she told me to sit down and wait, she was going to lunch). We left and went to Priority Honda (Chesapeake, VA). Shay Patel (Sales Person) located the exact vehicle we were looking for, gave us a free loaner vehicle until the new vehicle arrived, gave us the price Edmunds quoted plus Military discount. Best decision on the best SUV on the market. Payed cash. Thanks to EDMUNDS for your help and support.

Look at Me in a CR-V!
This is my first CR-V. I have always driven Accords before. I am delighted with the CR-V. It handles better than the Accord, feels very solid and has a great deal of power. I sit higher, can see better, and feel safer. I am thrilled that the backseats fold themselves down completely (when released) and hold a whole lot of stuff! Also, my passengers have more leg room in the front and back. The only negatives are the somewhat lower gas mileage and less overall space in front due to the design. But - there is a "secret" CD player which makes me very happy.
2016 Honda CR-V EX 4WD
Have had an EX 4WD for 3 weeks. It is just another great product from Honda. Everything is great to what I expected for this trim. To me, the only complains are: (1) The front driver seat. Somehow I felt it is a little bit small and it is not comfortable no matter how I tried to adjust it. (2) The headlight is kind of dim. BTW, I have owned Pilot, Accord , and Civic before

Side Camera AWESOME for changing lanes in L.A.
Okay, at first I was disappointed with the right side lane change camera. Only because I wish it was on both sides. But, when driving in rush hour traffic in LA, I realized I could just push the button to turn it on. That enabled me to periodically spot traffic behind me to check for potential chances to safely change in the lane to the right. Made driving up there much safer. It is also awesome for watching for bicyclists at corners where I want to turn right. I can see them approaching. No more worrying about hitting a biker on my right. Other than that, all of the great things people say about this car are true. The CR-V just keeps on going. My 2006 was passed down to my daughter, and now has nearly 200,000 miles, and virtually no repairs.

My New Honda CRV
The car has an economy ride which increases your MPG. When you need extra pick up just turn the economy button off and you get extra power. Very easy to drive. Big windshield for great visual fields. Back up camera and right blind side camera.

REO
Our Honda CR-V has impressive responses, actually took some getting used to, everything is very tight and precise. The speedometer is right on the mark. The engine is peppy and mountain driving has little effect on it. The interior is especially roomy. Love the dual temperatures , including the rear seating area. Disappointed the passenger seat did not have electronic adjustments like the drivers, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, but we hear that was remedied in the 2017 model. The ride isn't bad at all for the size of the vehicle and being all wheel drive, it is probably the most comfortable in it's class. However, our former car was large, Q45 sedan and it had a great ride and amazing seats, so I am having to adjust, a little disappointed but my husband has no problem with the CR-V's ride. The rear seat room is amazing! The cargo area is perfect and we love the way the rear seats fold down easily with a pull of a lever. We love the look of our 2016, glad we didn't wait to see the 2017 change, while subtle, we prefer the 2016. On a mountainous 400 mile trip we averaged 29 miles per gallon on a new engine. Over all we are 5 star pleased with this vehicle and highly recommend it.

2016 touring crv
Navigation is very poor. Dissapointed in it. It won't allow you to put specific addresses in at times... It picks what it thinks you want and then you loose control of it... It's very frustrating an d unreliable. More, just looks pretty than it is functional. Otherwise though, it handles great and love the drivers assist and acc.

1 month and loving it.
Took it up to the mountains and it did very well. Got an average of 32 miles per gallon and made it there and back on a little over 3/4 tank of gas on the 350 mile round trip. We did not drive on snow but it handled well on the wet curvy toads of big bear.

Last one
I have only had my new 2016 Honda CRV for about 1 month and enjoying it so much. The visibility all around while driving is amazing. This is the first vehicle I have owned that I feel like I can see in any direction with no problem. I love that it has an eco feature that helps me learn how to get the most mileage out of driving.

A Great Surprise...
This little car is loaded with wonderful surprises...a lot of technology for the price (but not too much to be overwhelming for me, of the 'Boomer' generation) a QUIET, comfortable ride (comparable to much higher priced luxury cars) that I must attribute to the finishes and those 18" wheels! And the roominess that cars in this class generally lack...we are delighted with this purchase and cannot say enough good things. Nicely styled, nicely put-together, a great ride...easy to navigate the dash.

First time owner of a Honda SUV
Must do price comparison, getting internet quotes is a good way to start . Know what safety and technology features you want and what are available in the different model lines. Have a price range in mine. Must be flexible and willing to negotiate. We brought a DEMO which was driven for 2months and had very low miles at an excellent price.
