Nice SUV !
Review I've the CRV since March this year, it's a good size SUV for 5 adult passengers as well as cargo room. Smooth and flexible fold-down rear back. Right lane-change Monitor display is a nice safety feature. Favorite Features: Handsome look with LED headlight. Smooth 60/40 split fold-down rear seat. Right lane-turn watch monitor provides advanced safety measure. Better mileage than last model. Suggested Improvements: Needs more power. Add left lane-turn watch as well. Engine and road noise still need room for improvement. Add front and backup sensors. Better power hydraulic trunk opener for senior driver.

Issues with Transmission
When driving down hill and braking the car excellerates. From 2200 rpm to 3000 rpm . It is scary I will bring mine in for service but from what I've heard at other websites the dealers adjustments do little or nothing and the gas consumption goes up. Honda must address this issue with possible replacement of all these transmissions. Can be dangerous

Great dealership support
Purchased a new 2015 CRV in January of 2016. Had some issues with the car and the dealership went out of its way to resolve the problems. Couldn't be happier with my dealership and will continue to do business with them.

Fantastic riding EX-L I love this car !
Do not be alarmed by the same 12 unhappy people writing about vibration woes, there are none. I do thank them though, I only had to wait a month for Honda to make my car in Ohio due to demand is far exceeding supply. Beige leather interior on white exterior a large shortage of. On behalf of 200,000 happy 2015 CRV owners, you can't go wrong buying the 2015 CRV. I cannot find one thing wrong with my CRV and I am finicky. Everyone who gets in my CRV just loves it. Very comfortable front seats. I am 6 foot tall.
Nineth Honda and The Best so Far
I love this vehicle. It's been awesome in every way. I've owned nine Honda's (Accord, Prelude, 4 Civics and a Honda GL1800 Goldwing along with several other Honda motorcycles.) Of the Honda's I've owned over the years, this one is the pinnacle. It looks better, runs better, feels better and made better than the rest. Not only do I feel that way compared to the other Honda's I've owned, but all the American cars I've owned over the years as well as current vehicles priced tens of thousands of dollars more. This is a VERY practical vehicle that I'm proud of in terms of just how good it is made compared to others. Honda and Toyota are the elites of quality and longevity. The key here is "will this car still be running in 10-15 years?" With Honda or Toyota, you better believe it. On the mileage side, if "Ergo" mode is off, the engine is very peppy, but the mileage really goes down. However with "Ergo" mode on, my mileage has consistently been 31-33 MPG average. Almost as good as my 2006 Civic. My drive is mostly highway back and forth to work. However for an SUV that's great! Road noise is only an issue on grated pavement, otherwise it's pretty quiet and I have NEVER experienced any rough idle. Could have been an issue on the earlier year models. Honda has appeared to have fixed it on the production line if it was an issue. Mine is smooth as silk with over 1500 miles on it now. I also have a new Toyota Camry XLE with the 2.5L 4 and it's rougher than this CR-V. If you're used to the smoothness of a V6 or a V8 and you've just moved to a 4 cylinder engine, well it's pretty normal to have a slight rough idle. I've had Chevy 4 cylinders (Grand Am, Chevette and a Monza) as well that were a little rough at idle. This CR-V is extremely smooth for a 4. The interior quality is terrific and frankly much better than my earlier Honda's. I buy vehicles to last. Every Honda I've owned had well over 100K miles on them when I sold them. I usually keep a car 10 years and this CR-V is no exception. Oh, and when you go to sell Honda's, they usually take less than a day to sell on Craig's list. Not to mention you'll get top dollar too. :-) Here's to a long relationship with one of the best vehicles I've owned so far.

My first SUV and I love it!
I looked at Mazda, Honda, and Toyota and the CRV was the overall best value. I was initially interested in the Honda HRV, but the lack of engine power turned me towards the CRV. I test drove the CRV and fell in love. I have read a few reviews mentioning CRV engine vibration, but I have not experienced this AT ALL. Smooth ride, the nicest interior out of the brands that I looked at, and awesome gas mileage!

My new CR-V EX
I just brought my new Honda CR-V a few weeks ago. I own a 2006 honda pilot before with almost 160,000 miles and decided to get a new honda and wanted a small SUV this time because of the gas mileage. Overall I am very happy with my new CR-V. I am averaging 30 mpg 75 percent highway driving. I wanted the leather but the Crv EXL was almost 3000 dollars more than the EX so I am happy with the EX it's got everything I needed. I do notice a slight vibrations sometimes but it's not bothersome at all mostly at idle and some slight vibrations between 20 to 30 mph. It's not annoy at all. Overall it's rides very nice and very comfortable. My families tell me that it's rides very quiet.
Miss Firing or Vibration
I purchased this vehicle (CRV - Touring 4WD) on March 31, 2015 I read all the comments, then I want to share my taught I'm thinking that there is a misfiring (Spark Plug) Fuel supply is not correct in the vehicle, its in Parking or stopped at red light. In Parking: If you push the gas pedal. vehicle moves forward/backward....(an Inch or so) @ Stop light the vehicle in Vibration.... I want to go to dealer (Millennium Honda) in LI, NY Also I ordered the Remote Start, still now I didn't get that and I called several times and they are saying that you may get a call from the parts, also they are providing non Honda Remote Start and I have to carry 2 remotes/person(4 Total), not original.
Excellent SUV
This is my wife's third CRV; quite frankly I can't get her to even look at anything else. However, we almost switched after reading all the vibration comments, but are glad that we didn't. Yes, their is SOMETIMES a vibration when sitting at a stop sign in drive, but you have to really concentrate to feel it. My wife uses it both as general transportation and as a work truck - we own a ranch and haul everything from feed to alpacas in the back. We drive it regularly in both city and expressway traffic and it performs like a champ. It feels very safe and secure at highway speeds and is very comfortable. My wife loves the gas mileage, as our other car is a Ford F-150.
Finally have some color in my parking area. :)
It's not just the color that's great (Got the Copper) but the car is, IMHO, outstanding so far. Have only owned it since June 27 so have only come across a couple of things I don't care for. Have to agree with the other poster that the console compartment is extremely small compared to my Acura RDX which had 2 compartments - one in the dash area and one between the seats in front. Other than that, I don't find any door noise or road noise going on yet. I was concerned about how quiet it would be when the windows were up. In my Acura, there was virtually no road noise. My CR-V is, far as I can tell, is just as quiet. LOVE the MPG!!! Acura - 18 mpg (maybe) in a good week.....CR-V (so far )25 mpg which is 85% city driving. Don't care for the rear view mirror's automatic dimming during night driving. My Acura allowed me to adjust it to whatever "visibility" I wanted, which usually meant I'd use the day driving mode most of the time, at night, as I liked seeing lights, whether bright or not. At least I had the choice and control. Other than those 2 things, so far I'm a happy camper with my CR-V Touring. The safety features are outstanding!!! The safer the better. Got a great warranty with Honda of Riverside - 8 yr bumper to bumper - no deductible and loaner car while it's in the shop. What with all the electronics guiding the cars these days, an 8 yr warranty, at my age, is a must have. Don't want to have to come up with $600 to cover a $6 part in a few years. :) Cost $2500 more but brought the finance charge down from 2.99% to 1.9% and since this is the last car I'll own, it was well worth the extra money. For me, this car is just the right fit!!! Not too small, not too large. And another plus - I'll only have to fill up my gas tank about every 2 months. :)

Update to Vibration Free 2015 EXL/Nav FWD (It's NOT!!)
In my initial review written 24 Feb, I was too hasty in bragging about my vibration free CR V. Yesterday I had a very brief (maybe 2 seconds) profound yibrstion/thudding episode. It happened immediately after starting my warmed up car. Before I could figure out what was going on, it stopped. 300 mikes later, no more vibration episodes. If people are experiencing this routinely, I understand their concern, because this is unacceptable. I hope I did not mislead anyone with my initial glowing review.
carefully think to buy from honda
i bought the car 3 weeks , the fog lamp glass broken,,if the screen glass maybe easy broken when you driving on the highway,,so be carefully to think about buy this honda car

Heavenly CRV
Traded in my 14 yr. old Lexus ES300 -- my baby -- for a practical CRV. I researched for months on my next vehicle. Lo and behold, I bought the CRV. Am pleased with the electronics, right side-view and back-up cameras. You get used to the vibration esp. when you get 34 miles to a gallon (highway). I am very happy and love CRV! Haven't bought a brand new vehicle since 1985 -- that was a Honda Civic. Now, 30 yrs. later, it's a CRV. Great job, Honda!

I have to jump start my honda 12-20 times per week. the dealer cant find the problem. Meinike says the computer needs to be updated, but he dealer refuses. rain or snow, extreme heat or cold, no matter how far I have driven, no matter what accessory I use or don't use, whether I drive highway or city, I can be seen jumpstarting my car, I invested in a jumpbox. CR Vibrator
V stands for Vibrator. Honda doesn't stand behind its cars. Since day one this car at idle VIBRATES I took the car in multiple times in but no help from honda. Last honda for us for sure. The rpm are so low to the point is so annoying to the people in the car. During ride everything is fine.

Value with Safety
In the first year of owning this car I was sideswiped by a 19 year old college student both vehicles were going 45 mph down a heavily trafficked highway after a football game. The car's maneuverability and handling allowed me to maintain control of the car, avoid veering into oncoming traffic, and bring the car to a safe, comfortable stop (after which the same student rear ended me as well). The car up to that moment performed perfectly, and after repair only a nagging clatter sound remains. I account the noise to non-factory installed side panels. Overall, the car has performed admirably, gas mileage is exactly as notated by the EPA on the window sticker. With the exception of the wreck, the car has only required scheduled maintenance and provides a smooth comfortable ride. The "smart" cruise control has spoiled me rotten to the point that now every future car will need to have it installed.

Loved this car
I absolutely loved this car! If I didn’t need a towing truck, I would definitely have bought out the lease. This car feels luxurious, drives beautifully, all the features one needs- HDMI PORT, 2 USB ports, 2 12V power outlets - This vehicle was amazing on gas!!! I consistently got 19 city/29 highway miles just really impressive- right side mirror camera and rear camera- loved, loved, loved this car!

Excellent car with a few issues.
The radio controls are likely to cause accidents due to distraction. The old dial tuner would be much more convenient. It would be better if there were power seat controls on both the driver and passenger side front seats. The roof rails do no have side openings making it more complicated to prevent something tied down from moving sideways.

Ok but sometime Vibrates
I bought EXL trim about 2 weeks ago and i really saw vibration on my passenger seat (shaking) when i stopped in front of red light. Since then, i pay extra attention every time when i stop, i only can say it really happens sometimes, not all the time. One more thing i wanna mention is that the mileage for me only 15.2mpg all city drive. That was kinda disappointing. I hope after break in period it will gets better.

5 years enough, traded for a Mazda
First of all the vibration is real folks, there is now a tsb, out for it which greatly improves it at lower speeds , but it just seemed to move it to a higher speed. At 70 mph it's like sitting in a vibromatic chair and it really wears on you over a distance. It's a weird vibe because it doesn't change frequency, regardless of road speed or engine rpm, it's just there. Will be soon going back to dealer before warranty is out. We have gotten 36+ Mpg on trips and 24-28 around town with it so no real complaints there. Interior noise is 1000 x better than older crv's, we test drove some. It's my wife's vehicle and overall not bad, and she is happy with it, but being a former mechanic and tuned to notice small things in a car, the vibe does bug me especially with today's technology I think they could have done a better job on the drivetrain. UPDATE!! after 3 yrs of ownership, has developed a light rattle in rear suspension. Of course out of warranty now, waiting for it to get worse so it’s easier to find. The suspension has always been firm, I had hoped it would loosen up a little after putting some miles on, but to no avail. The ride quality really limits the distance you can comfortably drive before it starts to wear on you also. At exactly 37 months of ownership the battery just plain died no warning whatsoever, I jumped it and drove it to the dealership to see if I could get a new one under warranty, but they were of no help so I went to autozone to get a new one even though Honda had a better deal on one. WARNING as of about 6 mos ago the engine started making some serious noises at cold startup, like all the rods are ready to come out of the engine. Got on the internet and checked and apparently its the variable cam timing mechanism, another problem that this motor has had for a long time and Honda has done nothing about it. and apparently will do nothing about it. We plan on getting rid of it as soon as my truck is paid off and a new Honda will not even be considered, I am leaning way t words a Mazda right now. Ok Still have it just turned 50000 miles. Got rid of junk oe bridgestones and installed new continentals, made a 500% difference in rain and snow driving. Not much has changed motor still sounds like an old thrashing machine on start up, dealer says not a problem leave it go, or $600 to fix it. Have not changed my mind on the comfort off this vehicle , seats and ride are just to firm for any kind of distance driving. Transmission is starting to develop a strange shutter at lower speeds and adding gas to accelerate. I have also developed a dislike for the steering, it has a little too much feedback for traveling a lot more pressure is needed to center it in your lane than I think is needed which also wears on you during a trip, we will be trading it in this spring for something else. Now no longer own this vehicle, traded it for a Mazda CX-30. Though smaller, the driving dynamics of it are way better than the CRV it’s actually nice to drive!

Worst Drive Ever
I purchased my 4WD CR V ExL Nov 1 and wanted to return it a week later. While the car has great pick up it is the worst drive i have had in a Honda. The engine vibrates when stopped at lights or while in idle. Also while driving you feel a vibration at certain intervals. I am not sure what triggers it but it is the most annoying thing I have ever experienced. It takes all the joy out of owning a new car. I learned from other reviews that it is the CVT and I took it to the dealer to see if any adjustments could be made and they just told me they could find nothing wrong with the car. I am seriously thinking about trading it in for an Accord. I miss my old honda accord.
Update on previous review
We now have about 1800 miles on the CRV and we still like it a lot. The MPG has gone down to about 24 in mostly city driving. However, it has been very cold the past several weeks here and I expected our mileage to suffer. The vibration while stopped at traffic lights and during acceleration is still there but it does diminish greatly in sport mode. The vibration is clearly due to the very low RPM the car tries to maintain when you stop or accelerate. I can live with the vibration (or the lower mpg in sport mode) as long as the vibration does not impact reliability.
will be looking for something else
Bought 2015 CR-V(EX) this past October. Now has about 7k miles on it. Have to admit I am disappointed. Feel scrunched in front seat. I'm 6ft tall. This car is made for those 5'8" or less. Had to tilt the back of seat back a little to create a little more room. The problem when you do this is you cannot fold down the back seat due to hitting the back of the front seat. The levers under the stearing wheel( lights and wipers) are not lit up. Can't see at night. The AWD system is my biggest complaint. The vehicle chooses when to place the vehicle in AWD. This was an issue when purchasing but like a fool I listened to the salesman. You never know when the car is in AWD. There is no indicator. The owners manual has one sentence about AWD. I want to know when I'm in AWD. I would think the driver knowing that could be kinda important. How do I know if there really is an AWD system? My driveway has a minor hill. Last fall with some freezing rain the front wheels spun barely making it up the hill. No help from the AWD. The car does have a very minor vibration when ideling at stop sign. Plus, when purchasing(October) I asked the salesman when the 2016's were coming out. He stated in the spring. Two weeks later there were 16's on the lot. Mileage is good. 33-36 on highway per computer.

Solution to vibration issues..
I bought this "truck" for the wife despite having an 06 Tacoma that I would like to keep the rest of my life if it lets me. So I have Toyota bias. This being the first Honda I felt a little nervous, but the reviews were great and the test drive convinced me this car was a good choice. The first one I got vibrated which was very disappointing. I brought it back to the dealer and they let me test drive as many as I wanted until I found the one I liked best. Unfortunately it was an eggplant color but I'm not big on aesthetics so no worry there.. IF you are going to buy this car test drive a bunch and make sure the one you choose is not vibrating before you buy. Please don't test drive one and let them give you another. Your dealer might not be as kind as mine.I felt what people are complaining about and it sucks.. Had I known about the vibration issues before I bought I simply wouldn't have bothered but it sure is a nice truck when you get a good one..

Happy with the new CRV 2015
I just bought the EX-L AWD 2015, the car is very nice and confortable, i DON't sense serious vibration like many customers do maybe i am lucky? The vibration is barely noticeable. I recommend this car. -From Québec city, Canada
Touring Edition falls short
We chose the Touring Edition because of the bells/whistles. But they work so inconsistently they are mostly gimmicks. Lane Keeping Assist must have perfect conditions; Collision Mitigation only works sometimes; Adaptive Cruise Control is unusable unless you enjoy the accelerator and breaking system taking turns jerking your neck; the UI for the two displays are maddening. The greatest disappointment is MPG. We are hypermile experts, so we usually crush the official MPG. But we averaged only 25.1 MPG over first 1300 miles, with 50/50 city/highway. The dealer says this is within the acceptability range. We specifically waited for the 2015 because it claimed higher MPG than the 2014.
Very satisfied
Last December,we decided it was time to replace our jeep liberty. The many smaller suv's would be the way to go for us. After lots of research, it seemed that all of them seemed to have their problems. Honda with the vibration, forester with the oil consumption, Escape with recalls, etc. Since we had great luck with previous Hondas. (280000 and still going with a civic hybrid) we test drove an EX-L AWD specifically looking for the vibration. Never experienced it. About one month ago we bought the one we test drove. We are extremely pleased with our purchase. No problems at all after 3000 miles. No doubt some crv's have an issue. With the number sold maybe <10%?????
The Best SUV ... Vibration NOT an Issue
I purchased new 2015 Honda CRV EX couple of months back. I have now over 1000 miles on it. I am very happy with my decision to buy this car. Its fun to drive - smooth and steady. New 2015 CRV looks awesome externally with spacious inside. The new features like hill start assist, lane watch, touchscreen are great. Excellent fuel economy. In a nutshell - "Its value for money" !! I guess some people are exaggerating "Vibration Issue". There is slight vibration sometimes ONLY when stopping at Red Light in "Drive" gear, but it is not as much noticeable as some people have described. There is NO VIBRATION when driving the car at any speed.
2015 CRV AWD Vibrates
I had a great 2009 CRV AWD LX until I purchased this 2015 CRV AWD LX a few days ago. There is vibration in the steering wheel while driving. As I read reviews today, I see that other customers have reported this 2015 CRV vibrates. The service staff at the dealership told me that the 2nd gear is "slow" and once out of this gear, the car will no longer vibrate, and that Honda is aware of the problem, but is unable to fix this problem at this time. I wish I was told about this problem before I purchased it. The salesperson told me today that he was unaware of this issue. The dealership has been very helpful so far.
Disappointed in Honda
Bought a 2015 Honda CRV-EX in late Jan and the vibrations have only gotten worse. Don't notice it when I'm on highway, but in-town is a nightmare! Honda won't replace because they say it's not a safety issue, only an annoyance. I should say so!! A brand new car should not drive like a 10+ year old car. I am so upset that I purchased this vehicle and will have to pay more to get rid of it. I expected SO much more out of Honda. Huge disappointment!! I want my old Honda back.
Great car but needs work
The overall interior of the car is good. The back seats give more room than the older models. The middle counsel arm rest is comfortable and there is a lot of room. But there are some issues. There is a hard vibration to the car when you are at a complete stop, so hard that the front seats shake hard and it is very noticeable. Also the a/c does not work well on hot days. Hardly anything comes out of the main vents when you have the feet and top on at the same time. I think I would trade it in if I could but I'm in a lease.
Liking It!
Upgraded from a 10 year old car so enjoying all the new technology! Loving the gas mileage - getting about 30-31 around town, and hit 35mpg on a 1,200 mile trip. I've had no vibration issues; the vehicle is quite, handles well, and I'm loving the keyless entry (which surprised me). I do wish for the price it had the automatic lift-gate, but I didn't need a nav system so didn't want to go a model up. Like the sun roof, love the ease of folding down the back seats, and enjoying the back-up camera. Don't love the auto dimming review mirror and wish they also had the blind spot camera on the left side, or at least a blind spot mirror. My biggest issue/complaint is that the inside plastic is a bit cheap - my dog got a few scratches in the plastic by the windows on his 1st first ride, worried how bad this will be in 10+ years, ha! Really it is a great looking, great driving car. For the size (coming from a small car) I am so happy with the mpg, and how well it handles.

annoying vibration
I bought a 2015 Honda CRV EX and did the test drive at the dealer, did not have vibration problem, but when I was on the way to the dealer to get the registration, the car vibrated when it stopped at the traffic lights (brake on D). I told the dealer about it, they said Honda is aware of the issue and is trying to find a solution. I was very disappointed with the brand new car.
GREAT car but ...
I bought a 2015 CR-V 2 months ago. On freeways and when moving the car is smooth, quiet and very pleasant to drive. Happy and fluffy thoughts are however blocked by 2 things. The vibration when in D, not moving with a foot on the brake pedal (as in, when stopped at a light) is very annoying. Clearly, the idle speed (~525 rpm) is close to a resonance frequency which transfers too much energy into the driver and the passenger seat. The passenger seat shakes and the steering vibrates and the driver feels like he's getting quite an unpleasant whole-body massage. The second is the buggy Honda Link suite of apps. Change music and use the navigation app at the same time? You're out of luck.
Terrible Vibration!
Buyer beware. There is a major flaw with the transmission on the new CRV. The dealer and Honda have said that they know it is there, but they have no idea how to fix it. At a stop with foot on brake the car vibrates terribly. It feels as if it will die on the spot. And it is bad enough to rattle your bones. Google Vibration in 2015 CRV to see how bad this is across the country! It does not instill confidence in the rest of the car. Although Honda and the dealer sympathize, they are offering no help in getting it fixed. When you buy a new car you expect it to be flawless. I'm a long time Honda owner and am Super disappointed.
The First and Last Honda That I will ever own.
This has been a below average vehicle. My 2015 Honda CRV has 35095 mile on it and is at the dealer with a warped cylinder head. The cost of repair is estimated at $4000. Honda Customer Service has decided that since they could not determine why the cylinder head failed, they would not cover any of the costs to repair under their 5 yr 60,000 mi warranty. Looking at other reviews on the internet, it's apparent that Honda's warranty is worthless. Lesson Learned - do not believe reports on vehicle reviews in Consumer Reports. I'm going back to GM products.

2015 Honda CRV EX-L AWD
I purchased my 2015 CRV less than 30 days ago and am well-pleased with just 2 exceptions: First, parking brake is located so close to the left "footrest" that you have to be careful that your foot isn't hit when placing it on the rest plate. Secondly, although my "average mpg" usually reads "31.4mpg" it seems that I am filling the gas tank more often than usual. Perhaps it is that the gas tank is smaller than my 2009 Accord?
Almost new and really nice
Was looking for a one year old compact SUV and found a 2015 Honda CRV w leather and only 4667 miles and certified. We had already driven a BMW X1 (too small, no rear AC vents, no spare w run flat tires (which are the worst tires ever made). We also drove a Mazda MX-5 (under powered, no rear AC vents, cloth seats). After reading reviews about the CRV had some reservations about the engine vibrations some people talked about. Found this one with on Edmunds at Coral Springs Honda (FL). We drove it (no vibrations), my wife loved it, made a deal and went home with it. Made a 1500 mile R/T a week later and it performed beautifully. Averaged about 75 to 80 MPH and and got 27 mpg (and no vibrations). Just to be on the safe side with all the electronics we extended the bumper to bumper to 7 years/100K which is the same as the powertrain warranty. Our first Honda and very pleased. Update-Car 4 years old (I've owned it 3 years) and 33,000 miles and still love it. Would buy another Honda CRV in an instant.

What you expect from Honda
Traded in my 2011 CRV EX AWD for a new 2015 LX AWD. After a heads up about vibration problems from reviewers, I took a ten mile test drive of highway and winding country roads. Drove two CRVs and one Odyssey. The CRVs were flawless. The Odyssey was slightly dated. The new CRV is quieter, smoother and handles better than my old CRV. Highly recommend the CRV but test drive before you buy .
MY BENTO BOX
I really like this car... While it's certainly not a BMW, there are some positive features to it; especially when compared to Toyota's RAV and the Nissan Rogue. PROS: Brakes Visibility Economy CONS: Noisy! Wind leaks into cabin. Made In Mexico Stability/poorly sized tires I wouldn't take the CR-V over 65 MPH because I don't trust it. The very cheap tires, tire size and sub-par stability are of concern to me. Thus, I am looking for better tires. I bought the LX. The EX price factor starts to climb to a entry-level BMW and wouldn't you rather be driving one of those anyhow? The car is loud. Vehicle shakes at 65 MPH and the engine shakes while idle.
Clear Why This Car Sells Like Hotcakes
To address the elephant in the room, my CR-V does vibrate my seat at 600 RPM when stopped in drive. However, shifting to N or turning headlights on raises RPM. Adjusting the idle speed would fix this, so I imagine Honda will have to address. Otherwise, loving this car for my extended commute. While the acceleration pattern takes adjustment, it handles well and I am getting 30 MPG (with AWD) from hwy & suburban driving. There are a few minor interior quirks but car is comfy and spacious. The CR-V is in high demand; you can't get a Touring for months and there is little negotiating room. Ended up going with an EX-L, which saved me $5,000. My EX-L took 4 weeks to arrive in my color.
CRV Touring - Well Worth The Wait - NO LONGER OWN.
Traded my 2012 CRV EXL Navi for the 2015 AWD Touring. What a huge improvement. Quiet, significantly improved performance, better ride and handling. The electronic "safety" additions work as advertised from Lane Keeping to Adaptive Cruise Control. MPG is improving with each tank full. Expect warmer weather will improve more. Quality is much improved. Seems more rigid and better screwed together. Build quality appears perfect. UPDATE My 2015 suffered with the vibration issue that many 2015 had. Honda stepped up and fixed it. Honda does stand behind their products. UPDATE UPDATE Traded this CRV for a 2017 CRV Touring. One word WOW!

Love Everything But Headrest!
I have had the car for 3 months and I love it! Great value and really pleased with the mpg even though it isn't a hybrid. My only complaint is the uncomfortable headrests! Even with the seat tilted back it pushes my head forward and hurts my neck. The solution I found was I purchased a gel foam cushion for the back of the driver's seat. It brings my back forward about 1.5 inches which is enough to make the headrest comfortable. NOW, I love everything about the car.

starts jerking, needs transmission replaced
My car started jerking or pulsing every few seconds (had 2k on it). Had a few transmission replacements. It's a new car. I didn't keep the car. A recall notice was issued the following year that it needed a software update.

MPG is a lie
I purchased a 2015 Honda CR-V AWD with the sticker claiming 27/33 with an average of 30 mpg. I am barely making it to 27 mpg on the highway. The car is currently in the shop (only a week and a half after I bought it) for vibrating and shuddering. I was told by service that Honda is aware of the problem and is working on a solution. He said, "They believe it is a software problem". I am a previous Toyota owner, and I have to say, I am regretting making a switch to Honda. I am currently thinking about making a trade to Toyota. I am a commuter and the MPG is a big NEGATIVE for me.
What's with all the vibration complaints
i guess all the people complaining about vibration are expecting this vehicle to act and sound just like their older cars. I have owned 3 other CR-Vs, 1999, 2004, 2011. I now have a 2015 2wd Touring. Yes, it vibrates a little. It has a different transmission than the old type, and it kind of works like a bicycle derailler. it's gonna have some different noises then you are used to. I've had this one since October 2015 (yes, I did get a great price, the 2016's were out already) Hasn't needed any service, the first oil change will be due soon. None of my CRV's had any major problems and I will stay with CR-Vs in the future. I have had several because the previous job I had required the use of my car and I regularly put between 25000 to 35000 per year on all of them. My current job doesn't require as much driving, so this one should last a lot longer. One last note to all the whiners and boycotters, LEARN ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE the controls, the differences from previous models, the cameras, (I like the rt side cam, use it when changing lanes, exiting tricky ramps from freeways) Great car, will never buy anything else.
