Used 2011 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
Great SUV! I would buy it again!
Bought this car in Feb. 2011, and I still love it today like I did the day I bought it. Honda quality, looks better than what they did to update it to 2012 (not sure what they were thinking about the back of the 2012 - looks weird), but the real thing here is value. I'm still amazed I could buy this car brand new for the low price I paid for it. A 2011 Kia Sportage with similar options was a couple thousand dollars more. Also, those complaining about road noise should have investigated that beforehand. Honda never claimed this was a super quiet car. Reliable, drives great, lots of room, looks great. Intended to be a family car. You want smooth and very quiet, then pay more next time.
Honda CR-V
Took delivery on my 2011 EX-L two weeks ago and its a tidy, nimble little package . However the driver's seat is proving so uncomfortable that I can't drive it more than a few minutes at a time. The seat is too small, rock-hard, lumpy, badly contoured , unsupportive (thighs) and doesn't go back far enough. Honda needs to take a serious look at this issue...

Nice car poor seats
Except for the seats, the quality is great. The seats are uncomfortable even with the 10 way adjustable power option. I am a big guy, 275, and after a few hours, my butt becomes sore. The seats remind me of coach airline seats. If I had known about the long term comfort made awful with the flimsy seats, I would of not purchased the car. My wife, 110, also could not find a comfortable position. The climate control is first rate and the radio is the best - the performance is ok but at 40 mph, it sounds like the engine is lugging. Alcohol gas content is critical. I purchased 87 gas at loves in Missouri and the gas mileage dropped 6 gpm and the performance deteriorated
Extremely Reliable
My wife owned her 2011 Honda CR-V for 7 years and only put on 46,000 miles. Dealer gave us a good trade in value of $12,000 on a new (2018) CR-V. We had to replace tires, battery and regular oil changes. 2 or 3 recalls done under warranty. Extremely reliable and dependable vehicle. Good ride and driveability.

Not bad for a 6 year old
Be sure to keep a close eye on recalls for the air bag by searching the VIN number on the Honda website. Beware - cruise control drinks gas!
