Used 2005 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
Great Car Lousy Tires
I was surprised to find good power and handling with this small vehicle. I hope it will have a better resale value. My local dealer balanced the tires twice but I still find going over 60 mph is noisy and rough. Equipped with bridgestone duellers.
luv that new "V"
I bought this vehicle because I was too cramped in a regular car--causing medical problems from my long commute. Indeed it is a great balance between the added room and comfort and the lack of the need for a private oil well that comes with some SUV's! Nice exterior look, and a great, smooth drive. The interior is a bit plain and "trucky"-- some curvier lines in the dashboard and more luxurious cloth for the upholstery might solve this problem. I bought the AWD for added assurance in bad weather---drove very well on flooded roads I encountered just after purchase--need to wait til next year for snow. Despite the good mileage for an SUV, it could use a bigger gas tank.

CRV ***5 STARS***
I am a former Civic owner and purchased my CRV last year and I love it! It handles so much better than my Civic and it's fun to drive. It is virtualy maintainence free with scheduled oil chnages every 5,000 miles or 6 months. I think that it's the best in its class.
This ain't no Trooper, thankfully.
Replaced our '99 Trooper. We gave up space but got economy and refinement in return. The CRV is really fun and easy to drive. It is quiet and smooth highway speeds. There's no unsettling feeling go through long sweeping turns as in the Trooper.
2005 Honda CR-V
I've owned this vehicle for a little over five months and all i can say is that i've fallen in love with it..I prevously owned the 2000 crv and passed it on with 80,000 miles and never a problem to speak of...This 2005 model seems to being heading in the same direction...Just love everything about it; except the rear middle seat safety strap with comes down from the rear ceiling near the back door. I feel it's unsightly and awkwardly placed.
