Used 2005 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
Best SUV for the money
I love my new CRV. I sold my mustang GT so that I can drive my newborn son around with me. The babyseat never fit in the mustang, not to mention i had no trunk space whatsoever. The CRV has been a blessing for my family. We zoom all over town, while getting great gas mileage. I opted for the Blue LX version, and I put in leather interior (baby formula proof) and I ordered much cooler after market rims. My truck is very sporty looking now. I am very happy with my CRV.
My First Honda
In May 2005 I had a vehicle that was about to fall apart. As a college student I needed a dependable vehicle that would hold its value. I was in a car accident five years earlier, so I wanted something safe. My husband and I shopped around and narrowed our search down to two vehicles of similar size and price. We test drove a Rav4 and thought it was the one. But then I read about Honda CRV's and felt they were safer. After a test drive I was sold! It had more space inside, comfortable seats, and ease in driving. So, we bought one. I took it to Virgina Beach this summer and had a great trip. We have had our CRV for five months and are very happy with our choice. We highly recommend it!

Very happy with Honda
I own a 2005 Honda CR-V SE and brought it on Nov of 2004 and it's been a great car since the first day I brought it. It's been to seven different states and it's has given me no problems on the road trip. It has 61,500 miles on it now. I also am very happy with the gas mileage, the best gas mileage I ever gotten on the highway was 37 and close to 40 mpg a few times with the AC off going about 60 mph. With the AC on I get about 32 to 34 mpg on the highway. The worst gas mileage I ever gotten was 21 mpg in town but that only happens a few times. It's very easy for me to change my own oil and trans services and i used the best oil like amsoil for improved gas mileages.
Love the CR-V, hate the gas mileage
I love my CR-V. It's fun to drive, accelerates well, and is GREAT for hauling. Those seats flip so quick, and it allows for MEGA cargo space. I have two problems, one the gas mileage is not so great; and two, the trunk light indicator has been a problem since I bought the car. It constatly comes on, even when I've slammed the trunk to the point where my teeth rattle. I've taken it to the dealer twice now. Not sure if this is just my car, or a problem with the model year. Hopefully this is now resolved. Otherwise, I love my CR-V. It's nice being off the ground. Oh yeah, great sound system too.
Fun to drive
Honda’s are always the best to drive. This car was awesome to drive. It was a smooth and comfortable ride.
