Used 2005 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
Honda crv-love it
It is fun to drive, reliable and functional. There is a lot of room if you need it. The seats fold down very easily.
I love my CRV!
I had the 2003 EX and loved it. Now I have the 2005 SE and love it even more! I love the fact that Honda listened to its customers and made improvements. One great improvement is the safety features - VSA, more airbags, and lowering the rear head rests for a better view out the back window when driving. I'm enjoying the extra benefits of the SE, such as the leather interior, heated seats and side mirrors. I'm really impressed with the difference between the 2003 and the 2005 CRV's in general. Great improvements. I'm enjoying my CRV and hope to have it for many years. Thank you Honda for a great little SUV with great fuel economy. You did good.

05 CRV. Its a honda!!
Somebody was really thinking at honda about this car. It has lots of little nifty features that work well. The EX package is just the way i wanted it and it's built the way you would expect a honda to be. I can cram far more into it that i thought i was going to be able to, and it has pleanty of pep for a little 2.4 lt motor. Have had it over 9,000 feet and its not winded and it handles well in up to about a foot of snow. On the highway its smooth clear up to 90 and it holds the road more than anything else in its class. This little car has impresed me in the snow and ice. Solid feel but not bulky and it really digs into hilly corners. I see many on the road and i can see why.
Dissappointed
My first AND LAST Honda product... I have never had a car that requires so much maintenance (I'm 63 years old and have had many)... Rear Differential needs oil change every 15K to 20K. It starts and runs, it is fairly confy but but expensive to keep... Now have another noise when at low speed - like a Diesel noise - mechanics have not been able to identify it - perhaps the alternator bearing they said... Anyway, thinking about trading it in, I'm tired of so much maintenance and problems.
Great All Around SUV
The engine is adequate and very reliable. The styling beats the new CRVs hands down. The seats could be more comfortable and the driver seat needs more movement backwards for long legs. I love getting around parking lots and the narrow body allows plenty of room for the doors opening in parking spaces. This SUV has plenty of cargo space and lots of storage nooks inside. I wanted a red CRV with black interior but this is not offered.
