I Love My CRV

I love my CRV because: it's navy blue, it's really fun to drive, it's got a great turning radius, the radio and air conditioning controls are easy to use, it's got a moon roof (or maybe it's a sun roof?), it's easy to handle and maneuver, the passenger windows go down, the back storage area is big enough, sitting in the front passenger seat is very comfy, my son can recline his part of the seat in the back and be really comfy, when someone coming toward me suddenly turned left in front of me and I hit them going 40 mph and my airbag didn't go off, I wasn't hurt at all.

I have 35,000 miles on my 2002 Honda CRV EX and I am still madly in love with it. It is such a perfect car! It drives great, does well in safety tests, is extremely reliable, has plenty of power, has the in-dash CD changer and the moonroof, and is just a totally cool thing to drive!

This crv is not our first and won't be our last. We owned a 1998 crv and used it to tow behind our motorhome we never had a problem with it and could always rely on it. We used it in the winter and it did better than some 4 wheel drives, we were never concerned about not making it home safely. Our family now owns two crv's and we feel that we won't need another car for awhile.

Owned the CR-V for 4 years now. Long commutes to work and the car is extremely reliable. Not the fastest acceleration, but the manual tranny helps keep up the pace. Only 1-2 problems so far. Alternator went at 95k and I couldn't replace it myself (close quarters to remove bolts). The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) malfunctioned causing stalls and rough idle at 100k. This is a common problem shared with the Acura RSX and Civic (same part) and to my surprise Honda dosen't sell this part (normally $50) seperately but wants you to buy a whole new throttle body ($750+). Replaced with an aftermarket TPS for $75. Otherwise a great vehicle!
