So nice we went back for a second one
We had just leased a 2019 Civic Hatchback EX for my wife. We enjoyed driving it so much we went back 2 weeks later and bought a Civic EX Sedan. Love just about everything about this car so far. Excellent sound system. Good mileage (just took a highway trip and got 43 mpg). Got used to the CVT faster than I expected. Fit and finish is top notch. This is a can't go wrong car...

Can't beat a Civic
The EX is packed with features. I was pleasantly surprised with all the features in the Civic EX. Heated seated, lane assistance, turning head light and of course all your typical technology stuff, Apple Car Play, touch screen etc. It's typical nice Honda layout with controls. It drives nice. Fairly comfortable for this size of car. Sporty looking. Overall very please with the purchase.

very pleased with this vehicle
Had this car for a year, and ran 30,000 km so far. Very reliable, gas friendly, and fast. The car is jammed with so many features, and I love the lane watch system which is the blind spot monitoring camera. It makes driving so easy. Very spacious, both the seats and cargo, and the ride is extremely smooth. Car is fast, and the sport mode does feel different than the normal drive mode. Here is a exterior walkaround of my Civic: https://youtu.be/xgCcXyCHdng
Excellent car for starters
Completely recommended. Save gas very well. Good acceleration, comfort and space. I don’t like CVT transmitions but this one works better than Toyota... If you’re looking a good, fun and safe car for a new-driver this is the one!
LOVE my new 2019 Civic
Drives so smoothly, quick acceleration with the turbo engine on the EX trim. Fabrics and other materials feel nicer than prior Civic — my last was a 2015 EX.

2019 Civic
Very happy with vehicle. Sporty looking, rides nice and is quiet. Scary part will be all the bells and whistles.
Amazing Compact Vehicle!
I am stunned at how much Honda jammed into this compact car! It doesn't ride, feel, handle or sound like a small car. There is plenty of room in the seats and I am a big fella. The cargo area is enormous. The technology has improved to such an extent that this vehicle feels and rides like a mid-size car. Simply amazed. Go Honda!

Traded Our Mercedes C300
Very surprised at the performance of our 2019 Civic Sedan. It performs as good or better than our 2015 C300. The CVT and the extra power from the turbo makes it accelerate as well as the Mercedes, but smoother. This is simply a great car. It's a gas to drive and the infotainment package is really good. I may have to rethink my preference for a stick.

Recent 2019 Honda civic EX-L purchase
I recently purchased my 2019 Civic two weeks ago in Platinum pearl white with tinted windows and looks sharp. I drove it home 550 miles on the interstate at 70-75mph and held steady at 37.5-37.8 mpg. Really wanted that 40 mpg but didnt get it even turning on and off eco mode. The safety lane assist is really cool and adds safety. The car feels great, it's a Honda so what more do I need to say. I only want to add I stood at the dealer struggling between the accord and this model for three hours, Damn you Honda !!!! I just really didn't need to spend the extra money or really need the extra room. But also decided I didn't need the navigation or rain sensing wipers on the Civic EX-L sport since I just use my phone paired to the screen for that. Hope this helps anyone wanting a real average person's review. Update as of 9/28/2019- car has been fine since last review other than damn rock chips in front paint which you can't avoid. Well I am at 9k miles and the car still drives great. Only gets a steady 35 mpg. I feel Honda needs a thicker mill paint at least on the front of the car or a stronger paint to help with rock chips.

EX Hatchback is a fantastic car!
After a year and a half with the Civic I couldn't be more pleased with it! I STILL look forward to getting into it and driving. Everything about this car exceeded my expectations. I was just looking for a small commuter car with an inexpensive entry cost but what I got was an exceptionally good, sporty hatchback. The engine and CVT were WAY better than I expected and I have zero complaints about the power or power delivery from the CVT. The interior is surprisingly spacious in front and in the rear. The quality of the interior materials is better than anyone would expect and there is a lot of storage inside. The ride is unbelievably comfortable AND sporty at the same time. However, my son's Sport Coupe is even more sporty and planted in corners but you do feel the bumps a little more. The hatchback has an incredible amount of cargo space with or without the rear seats folded. It has so much standard equipment as part of the Honda Sensing package that it literally made a co-worker regret her decision to purchase an Audi A4 after she rode in it. The infotainment system works well and is pretty intuitive. My only complaint is that getting Android Auto to work required some fiddling around. The heated seats are extremely comfortable and I had no complaints after several 500 mile trips. There have been zero problems or trips to the dealership for recalls. Overall I cannot recommend the Civic enough for anyone looking for an affordable, fun and reliable car, no matter what your age (I'm 57 and I have driven everything from trucks to luxury cars).

Awesome car. Plenty of power
The 2.0L is good enough for me, plenty of power to pass. Good thing is in the long run you don't have to worry about the turbo stressing out your engine.

It’s a great car!
Fun, fast, and fuel efficient
I am a long-time Honda fan and owner, having owned a total of 5 Hondas, including a 1999 Civic Si as well as an S2000 back in the day. Honda is back and better than ever with the 10th generation Civic Si. You can really tell Honda went back to the drawing board with this car. The attention to detail is unmatched. I REALLY love the styling of the sedan and I'm very glad they decided to use the sedan as the base for the Si and NOT the hatchback. Don't get me wrong, I like the hatch, but I definitely prefer the sedan. This car has a lot of power, but it's not overpowered, and the stock wheels and tires keep up well. The engine is quiet, but it has a nice exhaust note that turns heads. Now for the "negatives"... This isn't really a Honda thing, but I don't see the point of Android Auto / Apple Car Play when you have to plug in your phone. It would be nice if it utilized WiFi or something instead. There are a few rattles when the car is on Sport mode on a bumpy road. I really wish Brake Hold stayed on between drives by default. Heck, I wish Sport / Normal Mode stayed set between drives as well. All that said, this car is awesome. No car is 100% perfect, but this car is as close to perfect as you can get. Honda, you did well!

Awesome Vehicle
Purchased the Hatchback Sport Touring model. Love the vehicle. Wish it had USB ports for rear passengers. Car does ride low so getting in and out could be difficult for some. Currently getting a combined gas mileage of 34 mpg. Love that! 3 driving modes to pick from: Eco, Standard, and Sport. Would definitely purchase the vehicle again. 👍🏻👍🏻

Civic
I love this little car so far.
Great personality
A little background: I'm coming from 3 years in a Gen IV Prius and have had a 1989 Honda Civic SI, a 2002 Civic SI, and a 2009 Fit Sport. I missed having a manual transmission and that lightweight Civic SI go-kart feeling. With the Type-R I can still get 5-door practicality along with 305 hp and 295 ft-lb torque! Driving 9.5 Not the fasted car off the line, but once you get into that turbo, this baby moves out. Really makes empty on-ramps a blast. Outstanding 3-way adjustable suspension, steering and brakes. Can drive normally around town, but lots of untapped potential available. Thinking about autocross or a high performance day at a track. Comfort 9.0 Amazing seats! AC rocks. Nice features like touch to unlock doors, keyless ignition. The ride in comfort mode is easy-going. Road noise is not distracting. Not a luxury car--this is an economy car with an awesome engine and suspension! Interior 8.0 Lots of space, 5 doors. Materials are not the best, but again, this is an economy car with an awesome engine and suspension! Utility 9.5 5 doors, fold-down seats, lots of room. Technology Infotainment system is fine. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Stereo rocks, but not why I bought the car. Interesting display options for the center instrument panel, but most are just distractions.
The perfect everyday ride
I have owned a mix of Accords and Civics over the past 20 years as my daily drivers (my wife has had Toyota, Mazda and Subaru, so I know those as well) and I think that this is the best all around car I have owned. It is vastly superior to my 2011 Civic in all ways except the entertainment system (still a bit confusing and no CD) and rear visibility. The hatchback configuration allows this to operate like a mini SUV (without the off road), but the handling and acceleration is top notch. The small size makes it a great car to commute into the city, but it is also fun for weekend trips to the mountains. Great mileage, looks good in black (to hide those ugly fake "air grills") and very reasonably prices. Honda cars are very reliable, so this one really falls into the sweet spot of price, performance, utility and reliability. Please not my ratings are relative to the car category/price. I know a BMW would have far better acceleration, handling, etc.

Best combination of practicality & performance!
Bought my 2019 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback 1.5L CVT 180Hp in May 2019. Started with 34 miles on it and now has around 1450 miles. I put a K&N performance intake system and a SiriMoto Strut Brace and the only thing I can say is wow! Throw this car into sport mode and it will throw you back in your seat! Even better, put this car into ECON mode with cruise control you'll average 36-38 MPG. I have almost nothing negative to say about this car. My only complaint (and its not even Honda's fault) is sometimes Apple Carplay will randomly disconnect mid-drive for no reason which can be frustrating, and the infotainment system isn't the greatest but it definitely should not be the deciding factor in buying this car. The Sport Touring Hatchback is an absolute joy to drive and I plan on keeping this for a very long time!

Rockin
This car is a lot of fun to drive. It comes into its own on a winding road at 95-120 mph (I imagine-wink). Reasonable acceleration for the price but exceptional handling and road feel. The interior noise is a bit noisy but the other aspects of the car are so stellar that I don't mind. I have been using a Kindle for music which I suspect is why I have some bluetooth disconnections. Comfort and seating is good as is space. 6 speed manual is fun to shift.

You know that you know
When you drive the Civic, you will know that you know this car is right. It does just about everything exactly the way you want it too. I took the opportunity to drive several of the competitors cars, comparing apple to apple as much as possible. The Civic is a step above all the others in just about every way. If i could change anything, I would give the 2.0 a little more horsepower, and raise the car up about 2 inches. That said, as it sits it is one great car.

Fast Family Car
My commute is ~130 miles a day. I have two kids. I was driving a Prius. I needed something big enough to pickup both kids with car seats, get me to work with 35+ mpg and something more fun than a Prius (not hard to find) I’ve had the car since Mid 2018. My only complaint is the paint. I get chips when the smallest rocks hit the front of the car. Let’s be honest here, if you are over the age of 25 and considering buying a Civic Si, you are a car enthusiast. It doesn’t disappoint. It’s extremely fun to drive. Not the fastest car I’ve owned, but one of the most fun. Plus there hasn’t been a walk up to my car where I haven’t admired its curves. For the eco conscious people looking at the Si, with cruse control on at ~70mph, I get 41-42 mpg. At my usual 85mph, I still get 37-38mph. Just beware of the turbo, if you spool it up a lot, MPG dips. Enjoy! Edited time owned. Have 75k miles on it. No issues. Only have done dash maintenance minders. The only thing wrong with the car is a cracked windshield.

Honda Civic
I have a Civic Sport, it does not come with power seats, heated/cooled seats or a sunroof. It would be nice to see a blind spot camera in the CVT trim model. Having the full 7” display, as well as the other tech specs that offer a great ride. I was hoping to see two more cigarette lighters included under the cup holders and in the backseat. It makes sense why their wouldn’t be one considering watery cups are stored there, which could ruin the internal tech. Overall a great car, and fun drive.

The Civic is it!
The 2019 Honda Civic is a gorgeous and (surprisingly) speedy car. It has an elegant yet sporty appeal. It also has many of the sought-after features most are looking for today - a backup camera, bluetooth, Econo mode, auto lights, auto drive (way better than just cruise control) and best of all, enhanced security features (lane departure). Plus, the gas mileage is amazing! It's well worth the price.

This car (even in it's LX base form) has everything I could ever want! It's got a sporty look & feel, a comfortable & sturdy build quality, and a smooth & engaging performance! Not to mention it's bright red exterior, coupled with it's dark black interior which will keep me happy & entertained for years to come!

Swiss army knife
I came from a small sports car that I loved but needed a more practical car as a daily driver. Wanted something that had good room, good handling, decent acceleration and good economy with low emissions. (And a decent price) The Civic checked all the boxes. Tried 3 hybrids, Mazda 3 hatch and sedan, Audi A3. Liked the Golf but mileage wasn't up to par. Traded the car recently-- found a super low mileage '18 Audi A3 that I really liked at a great price.

Pretty Good!
Just know going into buying the sport model that if you want any get up and go on the freeway you will have to get one of the turbocharged engines. The 2.0 liter engine I think is the most reliable but does suffer from inferior horsepower and "okay" fuel economy. Apart from that I LOVE everything else about the car. The manual transmission is so slick and the VOLUME KNOB is thankfully back where it belongs. Overall a great car for just about anyone. Still would like to see an updated infotainment like what is in the current gen Honda Accord.
