Used 2020 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Old GM driver
Front seat needs more cushion support, both front seats should have seat controls the same as the drivers

Great styling and Gas Mileage - thats it.
Preface: I am a automobile enthusiast and predominately owned and driven German cars. Before I bought this car I owned the Flagship BMW 750Li Msport. I actually had two of the 750Lis in a row, both times i was Tboned by distracted drivers - I needed a car and was attracted to the gas mileage and styling of the New Accord. I say all that to say this is a very boring vehicle to drive, it has tons of road noise, the cheapest tires (goodyear) Ive ever had on a vehicle, multiple software issues and some of the cheapest materials I have seen in a vehicle. The stereo is unimpressive as well - no bass, no depth to the music. Honestly I would expect this quality from a Kia or such - but not Honda and certainly not the Motor Trend Car of the Year. Maybe this is just the "Sport" model as I know the 2.0T model gets Michelin tires etc. The apple carplay and bluetooth system is sketchy at best, the adaptive cruise control fails weekly and shuts off, If you have more than one phone connected the system gets confused, the CVT transmission is soft and vague, the paddle shifts are a joke, the interior carpet is the lowest form of carpet available, floor mats are less than walmart generic quality and the tires need to be recalled. The Goodyear overpriced tires - I have owned the Accord for 1 year and 1 week (bought it brand new) - driven it 14,000 miles - within that time frame I have had 6 flats and had to buy 2 new tires at $185 each....AND I just dropped it off for another flat and awaiting the dreadful phone call - will I be buying a third subpar goodyear tire today? Anyway - if you drive this car in eco mode and really take it easy you can easily get 37-40 mpg on highway and interstate drives. The gas mileage IS impressive for a car this size. It is an attractive vehicle and gets great gas mileage....but that is the only Two Pros of this car. Again please understand - I have driven solid german made vehicles all of my life and they are the quietest, firm, solid and quality built machines. My review may not be the best for this car as I compare it to flagships of other makers and that may not be fair. My girlfriend drives a 2014 Accord LX V6 and it is a much better driving vehicle and solid ride. Not sure what happened to this version of the Accord...were they trying to beat the price point of the Camry?
