‘15 Accd Sprt- Big let down for former Honda fan.
If you’re comparing to Hondas of old, you’ll be disappointed. The ‘15 sport with the 2.4L doesn’t even seem related to my ‘05 LX 2.4L (which was still chugging at 300k miles when we donated it). Engine had significant mechanical issues at 22k miles which was thankfully covered under warranty. Tires must be rotated every 7k miles or they roar beyond belief and will wear terribly. We’re so familiar with the TPMS light that it’s basically a monthly routine. Now we’re suffering from a failing alternator. Sad to say this will likely be my last Honda.

not bad. Could use some small improvements
Very good acceleration for 4 cylinder. Not happy that navigation is only available in the EX-L. Lane assist camera is only good during the daytime. Camera has very poor resolution at night and in rain. Shouldn't just be for right lane changes. Also should be available when moving into the left lane as well. Blind spots are on both the driver's and passenger's sides.

Best Accord Ever!
I purchased my 2015 Accord Sport in late April. I have owned several previous generation accords, 1990, 2002, 2012, and this is by far, the best one. It looks great and is very sporty. It is a classy looking car, with a sporty flair. The sport package had everything I was looking for. The comfort of the drivers seat is better than any car I have ever owned. I have seen the 2016 refresh and I can honestly say I am very glad I bought the 2015. The 2016's front end refresh is gaudy, with this huge piece of thick chrome on the grill. Also, all of the shiny surfaces in the 2016 interior are over done, and make it look a bit tacky inside. The 2015's interior is classy and sporty. The best looking dash of any car I have owned. And the alloy wheels on the 2015 are much better looking than any of the 2016 wheels. This will be a car I would consider keeping for the long term. I have also found that I can get just as good on gas mileage without the ECO button on, as I can when it is on. I just watch how I drive. But with the ECO button off, I have the power I need, when it is needed. I have gotten up to 525 miles on one tank of gas, and can always get at least 450, with about 65-85 miles left to empty. I am averaging about 30-31 MPG, per tank. On some trips, or short distances, I have gotten up to 38 MPG. This is a great car that has exceeded my expectations. Update: I continue to be impressed by this car. At the end of the lease, I bought it. I actually like it better than the new 2018 Accord body style.

Rough Rider
This is an addition to an earlier review. Bought this 2015 LX in August. I had a 1994,1998 and a 2003 LX and they all rode better then the 2015. You feel like a cork bobbing in the ocean. I later found out that Honda replaced their famous wishbone suspension with McPherson Struts(Cheaper) which maybe contributed to the very firm ride. Also the front driver and passenger seats are uncomfortable, we are using seat pads to give us some comfort but seat backs are hard ( will have to find something to put there to help my back) Rode or tire noise excessive(Thought windows were opened) , Loved my 94' 98 and 03 and based my purchase on the 2015 on those 3 cars. Car handles very well and mileaage is good

Huge car value; itty bitty trunk opening
I'd like to give this model 5 stars, but there is one rather large problem: the Honda Accord has a nice BIG trunk but a tiny trunk opening. We can't get either of our ice chests into the trunk. We can put the chest into the back seat, but I don't know what people with kids in the back seat will do.

Very Satisfied
I bought the Sport after test driving an LX. I found the seats on the LX unacceptable. Also, I thought the gas pedal on the LX was a bit too eager. The salesman suggest I try the Sport model, and it is a vast improvement. The driver's seat is adjustable every which way and comfortable. The CVT shifts smooth and the acceleration is great. I am very satisfied with this car. Although, I would advise anyone thinking of buying an Accord to move up from the LX model. The difference between the LX and Sport is huge.

Best car on the market!
I love this car, got the six speed and it's so much fun to drive. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great car.

55000 miles of soothing comfort
This was a really nice car. It got excellent gas mileage and was very comfortable to drive. It was a touring edition and we toured in it! My only real dislikes were the adaptive cruise control and the tire pressure monitoring system. The cruise would sometimes brake hard and erratically when approaching a vehicle on a curve or if someone merged in front of you in traffic. It was unexpected and could be scary. The tpms would show a low tire when none existed, it would also show a low tire when one was low, but more often than not it wasn't. All in all a really nice car. I kind of wish I had got the touring Pilot as it's replacement.

The capable 2015 Accord V-6 Manual
I'm a big car guy, this is a review containing detailed info for other DIY car guys. Nothing gets me more than the beauty of a capable, reliabe, and SIMPLE car. I have been nothing but happy with my Accord. I bought it used on an auction website with hail damage, got a great deal and shipped it accross the country. It started and ran with no issues despite having sat in a field collecting dust in CO for who knows how long. The only initial issue I had was a big crack in the windshield that wasn't noticable in the auction picutes. Because of the forward collision warning system, a windshield replacement using OEM glass is about $1000 (compared to about $350 for an average windshield.) Honda also said you have to recalibrate the FCW camera after a replacement for another $300 at the dealership, I skipped that and have never had any issues as a result, and the warning system has saved me twice! Only have three gripes with this car. 1) No apple carplay for this model year accord (BUT THE FIGGIN CIVIC MODEL FOR THAT YEAR GO THE FEATURE)--ugh! 2) For the manual transmission, the fluid that honda ships with this car is TRASH and causes random gear grinding. Very frustrating to an experienced manual driver to be doing everything right and still have a huge grind with the clutch fully depressed. Did some research, found Amsoil Syncromesh fluid, replaced the transmission fluid with my next oil change at about 30K and totally fixed the problem. One of my favorite things about this car is how easy it is to work on. I like to do everything myself, so finding out that changing the transmission fluid was just as easy as doing the engine oil was an absolute win! I can change both fluids in about 40 minutes, I do the transmission about every 30k miles now. The coolant is super easy too, changed at 50k and will hit it again at 100k to keep that water pump going forever. Brake fluid was easy, clutch fuild much more difficult and frustrating, hard to do with big hands. 3) No limited slip diff! AHHH, this was the most powerful honda to ship from the factory in 2015. Even stock, it had great power! The problem is when you're trying to jump off the line, because the power isn't balanced between the front wheels you end up spinning one tire which can make you lose control. Not to mention eating up one tire at a time! Also gives you bad torque steer when pushing 3rd gear to high RPMs. There's no aftermarket parts being made to remedy this missing part at this point. I myself have tried to pull together a group of people that want the part big enough that it would be worth it for someone to make it (only need 10-12 people.) But not enough people out there are modding this awesome car. You can get OEM parts for the Acura TL (which has the parts standard) and mod your car with that. But OEM parts are expensive for what you're getting. We want something beefy and made specifically for our cars! At the end of the day, this car is just great. Awesome features that really make you feel like you're driving a car from 2015. But at the same time the mechanics are not stupid complicated, so you don't have to worry about working on the car yourself. I've put some mid-level mods in myself without any issues. I have the intake manifold and throttle body from an Acura MDX, tip to tail exhaust with Hi-Flow precats, an agressive retune, and absolutely no check engine lights. If it weren't for the limited slip diff issue, I would pull the trigger on an aggressive cam and push the power well beyond 300whp. Dyno'd at about 290whp for now. I don't beat on the car too hard, and I maintain everything obsessively. My dream is to hand it off to one of my kids someday. I'd love to push it beyond 300k, and I'm confident that I can do it. At 70k with no issues now, looking forward to timing belt shotly after breaking 100k. Still on the original brakes, that the next project but I probably still have 35-40% left. Rotors will need to be resurfaced then too, as the carbon buildup is causing that classic steering wheel jiggle when slowing down fast from high speeds. It's mild for now, but will only get worse. I would buy this car again in a heartbeat. Just wish there were more people out there modding these like they do civics so there would be a bigger market for performance parts! Now I just want a Landcruiser to complete a family of warrior cars headed to 300k+ miles!
Great fuel economy, awful seats, noisy
The car is ok. It doesn't look good, but it doesn't look bad. Fantastic MPG (I regularly get around 42-43 on the highway), but you can't travel for more than an hour at a time because it kills your back and especially buttocks. It's snappy for a 4-cyl and the CVT works fine. It's quiet in the city and loud enough on the highway that you can't always hear the people in the car with you. The trunk is reasonably spacious but the rear seat back comes down in one piece (no 60/40 split) and the opening between the trunk and the passenger compartment is narrower than both the trunk and the seat that limits the cargo space more than you can imagine. It also has some hooks/hinges than come down and won't let the trunk close if it's completely full to the top. I would not recommend it, for the first time in my life as a car owner I'm looking for replacements less than 2 years into owning a brand new vehicle.

Diappointing Ride
After the 1993 Accord and a 2009 Accord, both in the LX Trim, the 2015 Honda Accord is a huge disappointment. The Ride of the Car is Poor. The Rear Suspension emits a Sound as though a Strut has failed. Also the McPherson Strut Suspension is a Step down from the Double Wishbone Suspension. The 2009 Accord's ride was similar to a Mercedes E-Class but the 2015 Accord is a downgrade.

The Winner and Still Champion
This is my third Honda, and my second Accord. Since a Honda was the first car i ever owned that did what the brochure and the salesman said it would do, I guess you could say I'm hooked. Until I'm not. And this ninth-generation example isn't the one that's going to change that. It's a great car. Thoughtfully engineered, well-constructed and very appealing. Taut and nicely creased and with just enough chrome I'm not a fan of nanny tech so I opted for the 'Sport' trim, which does away with the worst of it. And to boot I got some handsome 18" alloy wheels, a ten-way power driver's seat with lumbar support, fog lights, a leather wrapped steering wheel and a four-horsepower bump over the base Accord four. Not to mention the nifty dual exhausts peeking out from the rear bumper. Despite the CVT, the car makes excellent use of its 189 horsepower. I've never encountered a situation in 'cut-and-thrust' traffic this car couldn't handle. And while I feel the extra weight as opposed to my '99 coupe, this car doesn't suffer from road and wind noise to the extent that one did. The strut-based suspension is communicative and keeps the car composed, and while I wouldn't call the steering intuitive, it's better than it has to be for what is, after all, a mass-market sedan. (Arrrgghhh! I hate saying that.) Inside, it's all good. Another easy-to-read dash with nice-to-the-touch ergonomic switchgear. At 6'3" and 200 pounds, elbow, shoulder and headroom are abundant. And comfortable. Between the tilt and telescope steering wheel and the ten-way power seat, there are an enormous number of configurations available to the driver. I hunger to take this car on a coast-to-coast drive. And there are not-so-obvious benefits to this car as well. It's inexpensive to maintain. Parts are never a problem (not that it's needed any). And I reliably get a minimum of 30 MPG in primarily stop-and-go traffic. In driving that skews to the highway, that figure jumps to 34. The trunk? Huge and minus an obnoxious lift-over. The cupholders? Big and unobtrusively placed. Connectivity? Yep. There are three ports in the center console. And hands-free cell phone operation. Yes, I love this car. I have some complaints, but they're (very) minor. The door-mounted mirrors can each hold several gallons of water, so long after I've washed and waxed my Basque Red Pearl beauty I am made irritable by the streams of water which flow from them. Contrary to the 2006 Nissan Altima I owned, finding the window switches might be a challenge for your passengers at night as Honda opted not to install even the tiniest LED bulb in any of them. Yes, little things mean a lot. And finally, beyond the silly paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel, the wide door sills might present a problem for folks with ingress and egress issues. Oh. And the one or two times a year I could use a pick-up truck or cargo van? This car absolutely refuses to morph into one. So there. Like I said, minor. Given this car's seamless fusion of utility, performance and comfort, I am well and truly flummoxed by the demise of the sedan. They're better than they've ever been! This car is simply amazing! Automotive snobs like to refer to the Accord as an appliance, something which always makes me bristle. Porsche? Ferrari? Bentley? BMW? Mercedes? It's easy to build a great car to a one-hundred or even two-hundred thousand-dollar price-point. (And beyond.) Let's see you build one to a thirty-thousand dollar one. Yeah. That's what I thought.

I love my car!
After an exhaustive search for a late-model used car, I am thrilled to have landed this car. I initially wrote off the touring edition because I assumed that I would be paying for bells and whistles that I did not care about/want. I also did not like the black leather interior, that seems to be standard on the touring trim. I test drove other Accords, multiple years, all V6's, and nothing compared to the driving experience of the 2015 EX-L V6 Accord Touring. I purchased with 20K miles on it, and perhaps I just got lucky and the previous owner babied the car, or perhaps this particular car just came off the line like this, but it drives far better than any other Accord I have driven. The only car that we test drove that would be on the same level is the Toyota Avalon, which was phenomenal, but cost more, and for some unknown reason, the rear seats did not fold down. This 2015 Accord has all of the options we wanted, without any of the ones we did not. It is comfortable (I am 6'1", 245), quite, and you can choose to maximize gas milage with the Economy mode if you wish, but when you want to use the V6, those 278 ponies are responsive and very enjoyable!

Sixth Honda, Third Accord...
Purchased used, 2 years, 4 months old, a month ago. EPA highway mileage rated at 34, on my 125 mile drive to visit grandkids I got 36 coming home, and 38 going up (per my Automatic Link.) Of course, that's 'driving like a grandpa' - setting cruise control at 70mph and just going with the flow. Comfort is nice, the heating/cooling system very nice. The radio is sluggish at responding, might be looking to replace it, which will be awkward given the backup camera, the right side camera, and the upper display. All in all, very satisfied - feels much more sturdy than the 2015 Civic EX-L it replaced. Slightly lower gas mileage an okay tradeoff for more comfort and luxury - and all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Adaptive cruise control is nice.

Starter issues as well
2015 Accord at 45,000 miles or so, starter went out. After pushing the start button, starter spun. 8,000 miles later, it's acting up again. Honda will not admit to defect.
92K miles; love it; very reliable
I owned the car 5 yrs and put 92k miles on it. I do all my maintenance work. I use Mobil1 when changing the oil. The dealer has only seen teh car to change batteries (under warranty) and to change the brake fluid which I'll be doing from now. The starter went bad at 83k miles (it seems to be a common problem for this car). I changed it myself by buying a rebuild kit for $50. In 5 yrs and 92k miles, I've spent about $2k maintenance which includes a set of new tires and I changed the rotors at 71k miles (steering wheel vibration when stopping). I bought new Honda front rotors. The car's reliability is great. It doesn't nickel and dime you. No switches or lights/bulbs have gone bad. Gas mileage is in the 30mpg average. On a trip and 70mph I get about 36mpg. The original Good Year tires lasted 61k miles, they could have gone another 5k miles..1 Negative: interior noise on the highway can be a bit louder than wanted, but it's tolerable. I plan to drive it 200k miles. I highly recommend this car.

Acura in disguise
I have a top of the line Accord Touring Edition that I have driven 16,000 miles so far. The 278 hp V6 engine gives very good acceleration, and its handling and road holding characteristics are very good. Its throttle-by-wire feature is a bit erratic: when you try to accelerate from very low speeds, for example when going through traffic, you may lose gas pedal response. Yet if you press the gas pedal more firmly the car will suddenly surge forward faster than necessary with a speed potential that might be dangerous. I drove a 2004 Acura TL (Honda product) that also featured throttle-by-wire, but which never produced the dangerous surge described here. The 'touchy' gas pedal response in the Accord should be corrected. At low speeds the suspension handles bumps very easily; at higher speeds, bumps in the road can give a more harsh jolt that is not excessive. Another criticism of the car is that it produces road noise that can be tiresome. I think that Honda, in an attempt to lighten the weight of the car, which in turn will help produce better mileage figures, has reduced the amount of noise-cancelling insulation. This in turn reduces your sense of driving a quality, luxurious vehicle. The biggest problem is the entertainment/navigation system: Imagine trying to change a radio station by looking for three different "buttons" to press. In the old days, you merely moved your finger to the next button on the dash to get the job done. Navigation system and related features are very hard to maneuver through, and Honda should invent a more user friendly solution. In spite of all this the Honda Accord is a very capable, safe and comfortable road car and a worthy car to own.

11th Honda, my fave!
I love my 2015 Accord! 150,000miles on it. Still quiet, comfy, and reliable. It’s been all over America, and loves the open road. I’ll keep it forever, maybe until it gets to 300,000 miles. It’s easier to get into & out of than the newer generation. My new Honda is a CR V for that reason. I guess they don’t want the Accord to become Buick-like in the age of its’ clientele…makes sense.

engine timing chain issue
Recently purchased this four cylinder accord. 150 km on it. I am getting a fault code P0088 and the car goes in limp mode. Dealership don't know anything about it and on the internet everyone complains about the issue related to stretched timing chain. It's shame that Honda doesn't own the problem. The chains are supposed to be long lasting, why they stretched. The repair cost is around 2000 dollars. Sometimes I think that I should take the out and through gasoline on it and burn it into ashes. That much I am disappointed.

My little red Betsie
I purchased this car brand new November 2014. This 2015 Honda Accord EX is great on mileage, comfort and durability. While driving it hugs the road like a leather glove. Honda service is also excellent. Whenever I go for regular servicing, my mechanic always go beyond to assure all parts are running smoothly. They try to caught any problem in its early stage before the cost to repair is enormous. For me, that is good quality service. I love my Honda. Update 5 years later and the car is still better than ever. No issues or major repairs.

Great machine with one or two issues...
I test drove this car thinking I might like to upgrade from my current Civic EX Sedan. I liked most everything about the car. The seats were comfortable, the cabin is open and spacious and the interior seems to be high quality. The ride and handling were excellent as usual with a Honda. The only two drawbacks where the behavior of the transmission/6 cylinder engine with the "active cylinder management" system and the controls for climate and entertainment. The transmission/engine behavior is VERY noticeable each time the computer switches between less cylinders and all cylinders in the V6 engine. It is particularly pronounced in around town, stop and go type driving. There is a constant hesitancy when you push the gas pedal and you feel the transition from 3 cylinders to 6 every time. I imagine someone who was taking this car out on the freeway a lot for cruising type driving would be happy but if you drive a lot around town, you may be annoyed like I was with the behavior of the engine/transmission. Once it "makes up its mind" how many cylinders, it GOES with gusto and is extremely smooth and quiet. The other thing I found annoying was the entertainment and climate controls - talk about confusing! I could not figure out how to get just a simple FM radio station to play with all the press and toggle actions necessary and TWO screens to look at. Honda desperately needs to simplify this system! I could not imagine trying to manage this while driving - disaster! Other than the two issues I mentioned, this was an impressive automobile - maybe as they continue to refine this car, they will work out the cylinder management system issues and the logic of the controls!

Worst Honda I've ever owned.
This is my 3rd Honda and by far the worst. Loud air conditioning whistling when it's hot outside. Fan replaced but did not correct the problem. Hard vibration when stopped and in drive. Dealer claimed it was due to a broken engine & transmission mount, which was replaced. This did not correct the problem. It is worse than ever and now I'm being blown off by the service department because they can't figure it out. Check fuel cap light and check tire light comes on frequently and goes off by itself. I'm furious that I bought this car ( new ) . Getting ready to start a Lemon Law Claim.

NOISY FOR A BRAND NEW CAR!!!
I've owned 2011 Accord & due to an accident, she was totaled. I went right back to my local dealership [which is a great dealership by the way] and purchased a BRAND NEW 2015. I feel it was an error. This car seems cheaply manufactured as far as the engine goes. It makes noise like a cheap off brand vehicle and not quiet like my previous honda. It is also noisy on the highway-you can hear EVERYTHING!!! I will be trading it soon for maybe a toyota or nissan. I am disappointed with Honda this time around. Many of my family members own hondas too and their cars are older and quieter like my previous one. I am so annoyed!!!

Get back to design
I have been driving Honda accord/odyssey for more than 15 years and big fan of Honda. Bought a new 2015 Honda accord six months ago and here are my observations. 1) Very poorly designed front seats, feels very unconfortable. 2) No leg room- I am about average height and feels very painful for regular drive ..like every day to work. Funny thing is, when you move the lever to move seat up/down it also moves to/fro...never seen this ackward design. 3) Bumpy ride- Don't understand why the new car has to be so bumpy...is it the nitrogen tires that causing it? 4) Small Interior - Feels my hands and elbows are touching the interior due to lack of space . Dint see any jump in mileage , but why the car made so tiny?

30 mo. - still no fixes for VERY BAD NAV/PHONE
Intermittent thumps and metallic noises in car that dealer says are normal. Nav, phone, entertainment system and interface are horrible. The Accord requires premium price/model to get a poor at best system. No HD radio. Navigation simply is not useable in most cases - Almost worthless! Anything using voice usual does not work the first time. Limited Nav features, for example it does not show speed limit or have traffic alerts and alternate routes. No way to upgrade or enhance. Slow to work. Complicated user interface with many steps. Nav directions interfere with phone calls with voice over. Often gives totally wrong directions. Or you can't input the address or gives choices not even close. Worst such system I've ever encountered. Technology not on par with Ford or many others. Dealer even stated system is weak but the 2016 is better, the upgrade is to get a 2016 model. No recalls or upgrades to make it work are available. Wasted money buying something that does not work. Rest of car is mostly fine with only minor design issues - like cant open trunk with engine running, but found obscure latch rather than electronic. Miss having a manual mode on auto, was told the trans Sport mode allowed for control of shifting - but actually does not. Got V6 because I don't like how CVT transmissions work. High point is comfort and good V6 mileage, getting over sticker mpg most of the time and easy for a senior to get in and out of.

2015 EX-L Coupe V6 6MT HFP San Marino Red
The HFP kit was an expensive option but well worth it. The suspension upgrade increases handling tremendously, the wheel/tire upgrade is a no brainier. The aero kits give an already aggressive stance a boost. Honestly, I'm amazed by how many people are taking pictures or asking about the car in parking lots. The 6spd manual transmission is as smooth as silk shifting and the clutch wont wear you out in rush hour traffic on freeways. A lot of people complain about the interior in lower trim levels but the EX-L trim level has a very nice interior. Power from the V6 is really good and the car seems faster than a lot of vehicles with comparable power to weight ratios. I also installed the Borla axle back exhaust which gives the car a very pleasing note and even some burbling when letting off the power. Well worth the $700 extra cost.

Don't buy unless you like bumpy rides
I can't wait the end of this lease to get rid of this 2015 Accord. I replaced my comfortable 2011 Accord with this new cheap design. You can feel all bumps and cracks on the road. It drives like a donkey. In long trips, you shake all the way and arrive very tired and annoyed. Don't buy unless you like bumpy rides.

Accord is so conservative
The Accord is a great car, very spacious for a family that does not want an SUV, the sport model is a great buy; it brings you 18" wheels and a rear spoiler, along with leather steering wheel and door panels, but no leather seats. I purchase the EX-L V6 because I like the 3.5L and first time ever an Accord was fitted with a 6-speed automatic transmission, plus the leather seats, the forward collision warning and the lane watch camera is the best tech in the car. Although, I must say the Accord V6 lacks features like HID headlights, Paddle Shifters, bigger wheels and a branded audio system "Nissan carry BOSE audio systems". I must say the car is great, the leather seats are very comfortable, power assisted steering is smooth, cabin is quiet in the highway, the MICHELIN tires are like driving over the clouds.

Poorly redesigned Accord
The redesign of the Accord (I believe it was originally done in 2013-2014), it seems, was done to make the vehicle larger on the interior and all the way around. The seats are extremely uncomfortable and huge. I mean huge. They are designed for a large, as in height, weight and girth, person over 5' 5" and more than 200 lbs. Headrests are so poorly designed my neck and back ached constantly until a Honda parts manager told me to turn the headrests around. The dashboard is very busy and poorly planned out. The screen (multipurpose screen) is so large it is distracting to the driver. It is so distracting that insurance companies have made TV adds calling these screens "chaos, disruption and mayhem." I would just label it down right dangerous and deadly. The doors are wide and awkward and extremely heavy to open for anyone under 200 lbs. and under 5"5." The exterior design looks like a box and it has poor visibility. The steering wheel has that infernal Bluetooth located on the lower left of the wheel. Every time I put my hands on the wheel the Bluetooth comes up. Extremely annoying. Very seldom will I talk on a devise and drive a 2000 lb vehicle at the same time. It is no wonder fatal accidents are on the rise. The only real good thing is this year Accord was not on the recall for the Takata Air Bags.

drop off in quality from past years model
the driver's seat is inferior. I had to purchase a gel seat cushion to drive car without pain.

Had to replace the starter for $800+
I had non-start issue while the car was still under warranty. But I was too ignorant to recognize it was a starter issue. I thought I did not push the brake pedal hard. It became more frequent and needed more pushes to get it started. I had to have the starter replaced at a dealer for $800+. A mechanic I normally go to told me he had replaced several starters for this generation.

What a shame!
What supposed to be great purchase turned into nightmare.Great engine and great acceleration.Terrible ride comfort. After week of riding I started having headaches and my back starting to hurt. While driving you feel all the bumps on the road and driver seat is very uncomfortable.I will never buy Honda again.

MM family 2015 Accord review
Good overall car. Nothing fancy and a little bit boring. Great Gas mileage. Low maintenance. Nice style. Look out for very hard uncomfortable front seats. My back hurts after an hour drive.

This is the one!
Love it so much more than my Toyota Camry. Just an outstanding vehicle in every respect. Won't drive anything else in the future. 2017 - still love this car. No costs except for routine maintenance and some upcoming tires. I have driven 24,000 this year and never had a problem. Very reliable and I still love the way it looks parked in my carport. UPDATE: Lowered the score a bit on repairs as I had to replace the brakes at less than 50K miles. Other than tires and a new battery, all is good!

Good family car and fun to drive.
Very roomy, lots of space, good seat comfort on long drive. Ride is quite, good commute car. Trunk space is big enough for weekend get aways. Gas mileage is excellent. No quality issues so far. I love the CVT transmission on this car, so far doing its job. Cars quick and I love to drive on mountain roads. I think it's a good choice and gets your money worth. I hope it will be reliable in long run as I plan to keep it for years to come.

Good car overall with flaws
Have owned my 2015 Accord EX-L for just under two years now this is my 4th Honda I really liked all my previous Honda's however I am disappointed with this one. Most of the complaints on this site are pretty valid regarding wind noise and tech but to me these are minor issues my major issue is the poor suspension cushioning over poor roads it is awful I do not understand why more owners are not complaining about this it not mentioned here that Honda upgraded the suspension for 2016 model year have been told is much improved(that's how we know it was an issue) overall I feel it is a very good car I realized this after recently renting a new Nissan Altima for 4 days it had some advantages over the Accord but I find Accord better overall.I will be getting rid of it after 2.5 yrs of owner ship due to poor shock absorption especially in cold weather(usually keep my Honda's for 5-6 yrs not this one). Will check out new Accords this fall for new generation for 2018.

First Honda - won't be last
3/2/20 update - I still have my 2015 Honda. Still love it! Below is my original review from a couple of years ago. Still holds true! I have always been a GM (Pontiac) car guy. My last 3 vehicles were Grand Prix. Then GM in their wisdom decided to discontinue the Pontiac line. I didn't know what I was going to replace my GP with when it came time to buy a new (used) car. Then my wife stumbled upon an ad for a 2015 Honda Accord with only 2600 miles. We were sure it was a misprint but went to check it out. Sure enough ... a 2 yr old car with only 2600 miles. Several family members have had Honda's without any problems EVER... seemed like it was the thing to do. This car has more bells and whistles on it than I know what to do with. It rides and handles like a sports car. Hugs the turns / road... the mileage is AMAZING (so far in the city I'm getting 31mpg). I have to say - I don't miss my GP at all and GM has lost me as a customer for life. Another plus is Honda's are built in my home state (and most of the American mfr are now importing their parts from Mexico, Canada and across the ocean). This car is a win / win for me. By the way - I listed maintenance cost as only "ok" but that's only because I haven't had to do any maintenance on it yet. My son (auto technician) assures me - it won't be much.

CVT isn’t enough
Overall this is a great car, as is normally the case with being a Honda model. However, the 2.4 mated to the CVT transmission is not great in any way for performance. This car is very jerky and the transmission seems to get confused easily. Acceleration is also nothing to be excited about, especially when the AC is on. It’s like driving a slug with 4 wheels.

A vanilla looking car, but a good vanilla
The Accord is a dependable vehicle. This car gets Good to Great marks in almost all categories, but one. Honda should completely revamp its Navigation system. I have had navigation systems in my last three cars, a 2010 Lexus IS250, a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and a 2014 Nissan Rogue. All three were head and shoulders above Hondas. The Honda system is the least user friendly system I have ever encountered. To say it is not intuitive is an understatement. No matter how many hours of study with the manual could bring sense to this system. In a word, it is “awful”.

Back pain
Since purchasing this 2015 Honda Accord, I have had constant low back pain with any drive longer than an hour. I am now seeing a physical therapist, and thinking I will have to lose significant money with depreciation since I can no longer drive this car. Word of advice. Stay away!!!!!

less reliable than its reputation
This is my second Accord. Each had a nagging stream of failures that suggest that the brand is less reliable than it ought to be. My 2015 burned a wheel bearing before 15,000 miles. The remote entry failed, and the replacement failed. The starter motor failed before 50,000 miles. Both cars had episodes of not starting but after a jump, each worked. For a while. Batteries seem to last only 3 yrs. On my 2005, the head liner detached after 5 yrs. Really? C'mon, Honda, put some effort in.
