Used 2017 Ford Transit Connect Consumer Reviews
Ford screwed up on this one!
The 2016 Ford Transit Connect has ruined my view of Ford as an auto manufacturer. I have always had good luck with Ford and thus drove them almost exclusively. That is until I started driving the 2016 Ford Transit Connect with the 2.5L engine. I dont know where to start so I will just list all the issues I have with this thing. There are a lot. Good- Comfortable in the front seats Average MPG for fuel Bad- -Turns like a tank -Towing capacity sucks. We actually ruined a set of tires towing with this at the rated capacity. -Washer fluid capacity is .8 gallons. Washer fluid only comes in ! gallon containers. I include only to show the amount of thought that was put into this vehicle. -I have to order wipers (special clips) and air filters (super small) online because no one in my city carries them. -You need to remove the entire air intake just to access the battery. Replacing the battery has gone beyond simple replacement and into removing multiple parts, lines, and other obstructions in order to do simple repairs. -Rear seats are not adjustable or removable. They fold flat but are very thick and take up a lot of your cargo room.
