still going
it is the best truck i owned and would recommend it to beginner drivers. i own the 5 speed 3.0L 4 cylinder with 176000 miles and it is flippin awesome to drive and drives like a cadilac
Great Truck
I love driving this truck. Its ride is more like a car than a truck. It starts with only 2 or 3 turns of starter...every time...I like its looks, willow green with matching interior..Also has a fiberglass tonneau cover which makes it look sharp..Everything works, even all light bulbs...It's a manual shift, which makes it fun to drive....It has never let me down and it's got 192000 miles on the odometer.

Great Truck
This has been an outstanding vehicle. We have put over 80,000 miles on it with absolutely no problems. The V6 engine is quite adequate for fast acceleration and for hauling large loads/trailers. The best selling small pick-up for a good reason.
Not bad
Had the truck for a little over a year, put almost 12,000 miles on it and not a hitch. Bought it with 142,000 and was a bit weary, but got a great cost and I know the Ranger reputation to be good.
Buy a Chevy
Truck ran great for the first three years, then just about after the warranty ran out the check engine light came on. In the shop multiple times, damn thing just runs rough. Mileage sucks, too. Only about 15 mpg...and that's highway fellas!
