Went 170000 miles in 7 years never needed more than basic maintenance. Seats so comfortable I literally drove all day in them. Great interior layout. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars would be the sound from the exhaust. An American muscle car even as a 4 cylinder shouldn't sound like one. But that's a easy fix with your choice of after market parts.

This is the car which still looks new and elegant. It's in excellent condition and can never disappoint. No exterior damage at all and the interior looks like a brand new car.

So after driving one for a year, my Ecoboost premium gave me a cylinder head temp failure which put the car into limp mode. After verifying the actual engine temp (195 degrees F), I took it to the dealership for a scan. After a week, I get a call that I need a new engine. I take the car home and pressure test the cooling system, run a compression, and leakdown test as the car is running a steady 195 degrees, has great oil pressure (the biggest sign that your engine is shot). What did I find? the compression is at 200 psi to 205 psi on all four cylinders. The cooling system passed the pressure test with flying colors. And I had one dead coil pack. I replaced the cht (cylinder head temp sensor), the dead coil pack and all four plugs. What was I rewarded with after doing so, and clearing the codes? A car that still runs like a turd. I am still getting a failed sensor code, and I refuse to take it back to a dealership that was probably going to replace the cht and charge me $4000 for a new long block engine. So to top off a VERY bad dealership experience, as well as a car that unlike the 5.0 mustang and f150, does NOT have a recall for the EXACT same issue, I have a car that runs like crap. To be perfectly honest, the performance was not even close to the hype. An '88 fox body 5.0 GT will run circles around this car. It may fly off the road if you try and take the same curves at the same speeds, but it will flat out leave an ecoboost in a straight line. And they were rated at 225 hp, not 310. I say save your money and find a better car, better dealership service network. I have no confidence in either. The only reason I went with this over the v6 is that the salesman showed me the specs on mileage vs performance. I am sure I would have been happier with the 6.
