I drive for fun and use as a work car. The only problem I have had with the car is a noisy rear end which the dealer replaced under warranty within the first year. I am making about 500 rear wheel HP with pulley/chip, etc. I twisted a spline on the left half shaft at the drag strip with drag radials. That is the only problems I have had. This car is the most fun to drive, easiest to modify, and the most controllable car I have driven. It has never gotten out of control no matter how hard I drive it, wet or dry!

I had my sights on a Mustang SVT for a while. I held off buying because of the production issues with the Mustang Cobra. When the supercharged model came out I decided it was time. Best car I've owned. I got a great price, $31.6k without having to haggle. The power and handling makes for a very fun car to drive. The original Goodyear Eagle tires stick to the curves like the car is on rails.

Ford finally put the "muscle" back in the muscle car. The acceleration is awesome, when the supercharger lights up you better hold on. When crusin you get the benefit of the progressive springs and think you are in luxury car. Drop down a gear or two and punch it and instantly you are in a race car. Dosen't get any better. Thanks Ford, pride in ownership just went up to a "10".

Seems the blue oval guys got it right this time.Fun to drive, good to look at and all priced right.Drive it down the road and relax or throw it into a corner and have fun.Already been to the track Rt 66 and had a 12.88 and only was beat by a Z06 by a fenderwell forget the cameros and firebirds. All with only 450 miles on it.Thanks Ford.

I read all the stories about this car before actually driving it and I have to say they can't come close to the exhilaration felt when accelerating. I've owned everything from a 70 Boss Mustang to Chevelle SS and Trans Am, but this car is just plain muscle. When thrown in with the creature comforts of A/C, Mach Stereo and CD player, it's just as much fun as anyone could hope for. I've even owned a 2001 Z06. It was a nice car as well, but it's a different feeling when you get behind the wheel of the Cobra. SVT finally got it right folks. I applaud their efforts.
