2014 Hybrid SE Review
Make sure to view and add your phone to the car. Most newer car systems have a very easy to use system and can stream Pandora. This car, while technically can pair, is only for calls. Not significant in the grand scheme of things, but if you hate wires, it might be something to consider since an aux port is needed to play music of any kind from your phone.

2014 Ford Fusion SE hybrid
I loved my fusion. I only put Okay for "getting in or out" because I am taller but I eventually got used to it. This was the best car I've driven. I've driven chevy's and I've gotta say, the seats in Chevys are awful and overall don't like them. Recently my brother and I were in an accident in my fusion the windshield had a gaping hole in front of the driver's seat and the roof had a pretty sizeable dent, the dash had tears from the glass and deer, and the quarter panel had damage along with the little triangle window was busted out. It was totaled due to the cost of repairs to the roof, dash, and quarter panel. The car being totaled was in no way anyone's fault it was dark and the deer came out from behind a car. I am so glad we were in a fusion instead of something less reliable. I'm hoping to get another Fusion as soon as possible.

Really Enjoy This Car, Especially The Mileage
Really wanted the Mustang, but with a teenage son in the family there was no way to fit him in the back seat, so a family sedan was needed. Never thought I would buy a hybrid, but am very glad that I did. Almost didn't even test drive it though. I test drove a standard Fusion because I liked the styling, but it was so dreadfully underpowered that I just wrote it off. At another dealership I decided to give the hybrid a try and I'm glad I did. The electrics give it a nice punch with some added torque that makes up for the missing horsepower even with the combined engine/electric rating of only 188hp. That is one of the advantages of electric motors, the full torque of the motor is available almost instantly across the full range of RPM. What I really enjoy about her though is that she gives me on average about 40mpg. Once you get used to driving a hybrid it's pretty easy to keep your mileage close to or even above the rated values. I often get around 50mpg on my commute (as reported by the on-board computer at the end of each trip). The one thing that I don't like about her is the MyFord Sync entertainment system. It's been widely reported that it is simply not a user friendly interface and they are correct. It's got some maddening deficiencies. For instance, pressing the 'media' button repeatedly should cycle through the available media inputs on the stereo but you have to use either the voice interface to tell it to switch from line input to USB input, or go several layers deep into the media menu to do so. There are other user interface mistakes like this as well.

Not a huge fan of the hybrid
We purchased the hybrid an we are overall pleased with the ride styling and build quality. That being said we have never come close to the mpg stated on the windshield sticker. Our average mpg remains at 32. We have nearly 10,000 miles an this car and recently took it in to the dealer for its first oil change and also told them of our concerns with the fuel economy.I had hoped after the break in things would improve ,but so far they haven't . I was told by the service manager that the systems all checked fine and there was nothing they could do. I called Ford's consumer affairs department and was told not to run the heat if I wanted to get better fuel efficiency, the outside temp is 25 degrees
