Used 2001 Ford Focus Consumer Reviews
Fun Wagon
This is my second Focus. My first was a lemon (dealer caused the problem)that Ford bought back. I like it so much that I thought I'd give it another try. I'm not disappointed. Good interior room and lots of space to haul things. Having a kid and a 85 lbs dog forced me to get a wagon and the only thing I don't like is driving an automatic. Will I buy another??We'll see in 4 more years when it is paid off. Right now I'll say YES!

I love my beater!
I bought my 2001 focus off a small used dealer for a great price with 75000 miles on the car. I didn't know much about it when I purchased it, but once I saw it, I knew it was for me. I travel a lot for my job. I needed a dependable fuel efficient car. What I didn't know is that I found the most reliable car I've ever owned. I put 100000 miles on the car since then and only replaced the tires. The tires do wear faster then other vehicles but a small price to pay for no major repairs! I love my car.
Focus On This!
I bought my 2001 Ford Focus on or around the 5th of August (2002) at around 30,000 miles. Later that week, I drove it up to Vermont for a vacation, and the car had problems accelerating. This happened on the way back too. The car also started slowing down for no reason, until it was going about 10 mph. We let it sit for a while, then drove it home with no problems.
I love the car!
I got this car as a first car and it has been a great car. I love how it handles. The car seems like its on tracks. It never slides out. Not that I have tried.....lol i have had the recalls done and the only problem is that it seems to have some problems in the snow. But i think thats its just the tires. If you were looking for a small car look at the focus!
