There have been numerous problems still occuring and Ford cannot fix them. Wiring seems to go bad a lot. I would never buy a ford again because of my experience with the ford focus

I bought my 2000 Focus SE used about a month ago and and I love it. Handling and braking are superb. Acceleration is very good with the 4 spd automatic. Suprisingly comfortable and quiet on the inside for a 4 cylinder. I bought this car for my son and I keep trying to take it from him!

I was very proud of my Focus when I first bought it! It was just an adorable car to me...until it started behaving in true Ford fashion! At 33,000 miles, my rear axle actually broke. My tire could've come off and I could've been killed! And now my A/C condenser and one of my window regulators are broken..not to mention my radio randomly just shuts off from time to time. Also, my key gets stuck in the ignition or just won't turn to crank up the car! The car needs to be trashed and I'm trading it in as soon as I can.

I have had this car for one year and have had nothing but nightmares. There was 15,000 miles left on warranty when bought and was definitely needed! I had the emissions pump and blinkers fixed under warranty. Oh, then replaced the brakes on my own... had two recalled repairs and now 1,000 miles past warranty, My engine is no longer functioning... yeah, the 2nd and 3rd cylinders are damaged. Where's Ford's help now??? So, much for customer service! My first and last Ford EVER!
