I purchased a Ford F-150 xlt model in the fall of 2015. This truck is extremely reliable and is ideal for both city as well as country travel. It is ideal for anyone who enjoys driving a full size truck with style, comfortability, and power. The Ford truck offers many key features which give it an edge over other truck brands: • Ecoboost engine (v6, 3.5L turbo) • Lightweight aluminum exterior • FX4 Off Road Package • Trailer Towing Package • Tailgate ladder • LED bedlights Exterior Its Ecoboost engine combined with its lightweight exterior improve fuel efficiency, acceleration, and overall power. The truck boasts a fuel economy of 24 mpg highway and a towing capacity of 11,000 pounds which is 1,200 pounds higher than similar v8 models. This is excellent for you drivers wishing to have higher fuel efficiency while improving upon the output of the truck. Many critics believe that the more commonly used steel body is more durable than the F150’s aluminum body, however it continues to prove its durability with its five star safety test ratings. For rural drivers and those wanting to explore backroads and uneven terrain, the FX4 Off Road Package allows you to minimize the chances of damaging the underside of the truck, as there are skid plates protecting the underbelly. Interior The Ford F-150 xlt model’s interior draws you in perhaps even more than the exterior’s durability and efficiency. It contains comfortable, heated cloth seats and comes with an automatic starter for those cold winter months. Wow. Kick ass performance and 22 mpg on a full size pick up, my only complaint is no back up camera on the xlt. Update; after a year I have had this in the shop for various issues including replacement oil pan due to leaks,faulty a-c, replacement and rebuild of rear end and pinion bearing. I can only hope the reliability improves long term. Other than that it’s a good truck but for the cost I honestly expected better.

I have never had a minute of problems with this vehicle. Rides great, handles great, interior and exterior engineering is wonderful. Overall I have had a great experience with this truck.

2015 re-design is superb! Platinum runs and handles fantastic! The interior quality and layout is very user friendly, very comfortable! The exterior is solid and flawless, ride and handling is superior to any truck and most cars I have owned or driven. I highly recommend this truck to anyone who is thinking about a new or pre-owned purchase!!
