Mighty Ford F150
I bought my truck new in 2010, the dealer had added not stock leather seats and chrome touches to the truck. I have driven this truck 87.000 miles in 8.5 years. Regular maintenance done now on 3rd set of tires. Only issues have been the steering pump needed flushing after getting stiff and hard to steer 80k. The flushing fixed that. The passenger side exhaust manifold broke two studs and the manifold and studs were changed as a kit 85k. And the rear cab mounted tail light broke and leaked staining the head liner, I bought an after market and that did the trick for $75. Love my truck. It's fast with the 5.4 L 6- speed trans. It drives through snow very well. Mileage now 94,500 with 10 years age 2020 further repairs, the oil pan rusted through and had to be changed, Total steering rack and all had to be changed by Ford, and a pully got loose and drilled a hole into the front of the motor, Panel had to be changed, new pully system, timing belt, water pump, solenoids etc. at 108,500 miles I traded it in for a new truck, (Dodge) to many things had to be replaced in that truck, I would have like to keep it but what next ? Last year I added new Michelin tires 1” taller over regular tires on 20” rims Best truck ever, looks good, performance excellent...

Throw away the Bow tie
Bought this dark blue beauty at the end of the year and got a super buy. Rock solid performance and comfort features galore. I pull a trailer and truck has hard time adjusting to steep downhill grades at low speed. Engine want to rev real load and first time is scary. Went to dealer and they told me this was normal. Biggest suggestion is you spend as much time selecting a dealer as yo do the vehicle. I drove 3 hours and bought a vehicle from a ealer who did not offer best price but there service and the way they treated me was well worth the cost. Had proplem with a flat tire and local dealer did not want to honor the nitrogen warantee. My dealer took care of it over the phone.

Nice but Vibrates?
I just purchased a Platinum Ford F-150 and like the quality for the money, but am already annoyed after 150 miles with the constant vibration I feel when I drive it. I googled the problem and found that I am not by any means alone. There seems to be a big problem with either the drive shaft, tires, or alignment. I am hopeful I will get this fixed but what I read on message boards doesn't have me very excited. If this was fixed, I would be very pleased with the overall experience after just a week of driving the truck.
Ford First Time Buyer
Had me eyes set on a Tundra, until saw and drove this vehicle, for the price you get more with the Ford. I have never owned a Ford. I have no regrets in buying, this looks and feels really good.
Love my new Ford!
I test drove the Nissan Titan, Toyota Tundra and Chevrolet Silverado before deciding on the Ford F-150 Supercrew FX2 Sport with the 5.4L V8. It's super comfortable and rides like a luxury car. In fact, I traded in my Infiniti M45 Sport for this truck! The sound system is great and includes bluetooth streaming audio and Sirius satellite radio. The Ford Sync system is totally awesome as well! I don't understand how the Edmunds.com editors can rate the Dodge and Toyota over the Ford when it's clear who makes the best truck, period! Long Live Ford!
